I spend most of my time wincing when I tune into that magazine show.
 
As we’ve posted previously, the Red shirt cartel loving football media don’t hide it anymore.

But it’s now worse since Liverpool became PL Champions, and have won the PL title twice in thirty three years.

I've just been watching Vicky Gomersall on Sly Sports plugging the dippers.

Apparently some random dipper fan posted on X (whatever the fuck that is) saying: "name me a bigger upgrade in footballing history" with a picture of Diaz & Darwin being replaced with Wirtz & Isak.

Then Vicky tells the viewers that none other than Mo Salah has responded to this random tweet, text, whatever the bloody thing is. He's chastised the fan by posting "how about we celebrate the great signings without disrespecting the PL champion?"

I'm thinking hold the fuck on, this shit should be exclusively for LFC.TV.

How low have their standards dropped that they're subjecting innocent football fans to this soap opera.

How much coverage does LFC crave for fuck sake. They've spent nearly half a billion quid this summer. Surely we don't need to know what some random PIP claiming dipper thinks.

I haven't got a problem with the presenters' showing their colours.

Mike Wedderburn makes no bones about being a City fan, and he'll often tease the likes of that Dahrmesh character, who's a huge rag fan. At least I hope he's a rag fan, because the amount of times he mentions Manchesniteh is nauseating.

The issue that I've got with Gomersall is that she professes to be completely neutral and unbiased. However, she just comes across as condescending.

Absolutely. On a similar theme, I’ve said before on here before that I’d like to see any journalist who appears on tv or radio (or in fact in print & online), have their own team listed under their name whenever they appear, so their bias is clear - just like MPs have their party named.

For so many of them, they give no open indicator of who they support and try to convey a neutrality that just does not exist.

(Of course I know it’ll never happen!)
