Hasegawa extends City stay

Manchester City are delighted to announce that Yui Hasegawa has signed a new two-year contract extension on her current deal.

New contract until 2029. Previous deal was until Summer 2027. Really great to see us be proactive and get this done before the final year of her deal

Hopefully the players have seen the changes at the top that have persuaded them that there are genuine ambitions going forward.

I agree. She does seem like a good person. Things like that are the difference. She was doing it to make a kid's day as opposed to some who would say or do things on social media as a p.r. opportunity.

You'd think she's too small and not fast enough but her football IQ is off the charts.
