This Qatar rumour also for me is bull.. one thing with Americans they like have leverage for money a cash cow! Spurs stadium club is that! Plus it’s guaranteed money sponsors what banks like! Americans are only here for the money they don’t give a shit about our football heritage..

Please god no, surely we have to look at more than there turnover to consider them a global heavyweight?
 
If Levy has lined up a big takeover of spuds then wouldn't he want to be there for the reflected glory ? He might not be the future, but he would definitely want to bask for awhile in the good feelings that would come his way, and step aside in a dignified manner . What we have is a 6pm announcement on a Thursday, on an international break, with immediate effect not exactly going out in ablaze of glory is it ?

Trophy wise last 40 years they ain’t but spending wise they’ll always been one of the biggest spenders! Think there turnover was 530m meaning they could have annual wages of 320m for 60% of the turnover so the Lewis family if serious should be able to compete

Not new owners though ENIC retain ownership 86% ENIC is owned by the Lewis family trust >70% with the remainder by Levy <30%
