The people have more idea of what a terrorist is than the government, it’s a misuse of our justice system to clog it up with OAP, and Women hardly any young people protesting.

Attention seekers have a day out in London with the intention of breaking the law and getting themselves arrested, with a fair few of them assaulting police officers.
Why shouldn’t they be arrested?

890 arrested yesterday now, the whole thing is a mess, do these people have nothing better to do ? I'm sure the police do.
The group broke into an RAF base, and damaged (however minor spraying pain is) RAF planes, and the police say the group were planning violent acts. I don't think they are really "terrorists", but they are a bunch of twats, just the same as the right wing idiots now popping up everywhere.

I think they are kinda protesting at tens of thousands of kids having their limbs blown off and massacred in Gaza. Our Goverment has been providing assistance regarding parts for planes and spying missions. They are hero's not Twats. The Twats are the ones currently in power. Genocide accomplices is better

well, I was only a custody sgt for 6 months in 2000-and its the C/Sgt who authorises detention-but of course the Insp's job is to review that detention every 6 then9 hours etc..Would you have authorised detention?
In an ideal world you are totally free to exercise that power-but in reality you need to be aware of the potential backlash from senior command when you refuse anyone's detention. Job politics always plays a role-unfortunately.
Further, in that position you are there to uphold the current law. At 54 seconds isn't he perfectly describing the actions of the two terrorists just this morning who have murdered six innocent civilians in Jerusalem or maybe the Houthis who sent a number of ballistic missiles and suicide drones over the weekend aiming to kill civilians. I know the usual suspects on here will be condemning those actions soon, you are all probably a bit busy performing mental gymnastics.
