I don't want praise now. It'd feel patronising now. The time for that praise was years ago and I think to be fair we got it by and large. Didn't stop them hating us though and throwing any shit possible to put us in our place.

I don't want to hear a good word about our on the field performances until there is genuinely spectacular on the field performances.

If United or Liverpool did those achivements in 7 years, they would still be lording it up in the media, OBE, MBE Knighthoods, special awards and the key to the CITY

At the time everyone that I heard thought we were invincible and that Pep was infallible. To the extent that they thought it was unfair.

Alistair Campbell was like shit off a shovel telling the GPC he would be honoured literally about 2 minutes after they fluked that Treble victory.

I don't think Pep is eligible for a Knighthood. He did get an honorary doctorate recently from somewhere (Manchester?)

Khaldoon has a CBE, think the Sheikh has the one above the Knight Commander.

U.A.E and UK have always had strong links, the ruler of Abu Dhabi and our Sheikh's brother did his military education at Sandhurst.
