David Coote | Charged with making indecent video of a child (p57)

You can't charge somebody for breaking your rules unless they are a member of your organisation. This suggests he has kept his membership, and might want to return at some point in the future.
I understand that he hasn't renewed this season. So the FA can charge him and then ban him or fine him. However, they have no authority whatsoever to implement it. Complete waste of time.

But it does allow livarpool to know that nobody is allowed to criticise the club or staff without retribution however meaningless or true the said critcism was. As I said previously, in my opinion, klippety was the most abusive manager to officials I have ever known in either Division 1 or the Premier League and constantly got away with this abuse watched by millions of people. The FA or PL never gave their backing to abused officials whereas now they are pursuing a former referee, who now delivers parcels for a living, whilst any multi millionaire abusive coach is lauded and given the best seats in the house goes unpunished. British justice famed around the world!

Klopp was charged regularly by the FA multiple times. Maybe not enough - I'd have had him locked up in football prison - but I think they were as fed up with his as anyone.

How many touchline bans did he receive. Considering the regular abuse he gave out, then in my opinion, he never got the punishment he deserved. He was a multi millionaire bully who got away with it whilst a man who was hounded out is now doing a delivery round. The men in suits who should be supervising the game are running scared.

Davenport, Cheng and Royston on the FA panel (who?). We joke about the PL but, at least, they have a strong team of disciplinary panel members and arbitrators to roll out.

The Article 3.2 charge was pretty weak, imho. Just for mentioning "German" once?

I don't know why he didn't just admit the charge but say he meant every word. So he would have received a 12 week ban from a job he doesn't have any more. I wonder if he got a pay-off for an NDA?

I was wondering what he was banned from, considering he is no longer a referee.

That’s the FA for you.

Me too.
He isn't a ref anymore and obviously never will be again so all this after him losing his profession stinks to me of 'Liverpool are one of cash cows so nobody is allowed to speak any truths about them".
Wankers

Nottinghamshire’s former Premier League football referee David Coote has been charged with making an indecent video of a child. The 43-year-old, from the Newark area, is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court tomorrow - Thursday, September 21 - for a first hearing in relation to the charge.

The accused has been charged that on January 2, 2020, he made one indecent video of a child of category A. This is the most serious category and typically shows young children being raped or sexually abused by adults.
