Injuries 2025/26 | Kovacic could be ruled out for further 3-4 months (p37)

Obviously cannot legislate for the numbers of injuries, but does Pep's insistence on small squad numbers not exacerbate the issue ?

Rhetorical question, because Pep is not going to change his thinking on this aspect.
It was easier for Pep to rotate & rest players when we were a juggernaut & rival fans were saying we had a huge squad when if fact there wasn't a drop in quality. Now we have several players who have been great servants to this club but due to age & playing huge amounts of minutes over the last 8 seasons are no longer upto the riggers of premier league football

Currently listed as having 10 injuries. This number of injuries after 3 games, and given last seasons shit show, suggests there must be some sort of training issue that City need to address with some urgency.
City’s training fault caused Marmoush to get clattered in a match by opposition player, caused Stones to pull up in England training and you can go on and on.

Give it a rest

Eh, not bothered by Marmoush being out. He is awful out on the wing and doesn't do much (any?) in front of goal. Not completely his fault but still not bothered

The number one rule change in the Premier League should be that if a player gets injured on international duty, you can sign a replacement

Fuck that. Pep should give one of our superstar youngsters a spot on the bench and actually give them some trust.
Our superstar youngsters lost to united less than two weeks ago. I don't think they warrant a title "superstars" or should be anywhere near the pitch unless we don't have enough senior players (which I don't believe is the case) to put on the bench.

I'd rather all the squad be fit and raring to go, especially against these cunts

Arsenal, Chelsea, Bournemouth play similarly.

Last season, City's defenders were routinely injured which explains why City bought 3 young defenders into the club in January. Why might we expect City's defenders to remain routinely injured?
They absolutely do not play similarly, do your research
