Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

This is all so incredibly fucked up. His quotes in this article are wild. And undoubtedly psycopathic

"Raab, a former varsity basketball player from a Chicago suburb who became an Israeli sniper, concedes he knew that. He says he shot Salem simply because he tried to retrieve the body of his beloved older brother Mohammed.

“It’s hard for me to understand why he [did that] and it also doesn’t really interest me,” Raab says in a video interview posted on X. “I mean, what was so important about that corpse?”"

“They’re thinking: ‘Oh I don’t think [I’ll get shot] because I’m wearing civilian clothes and I am not carrying a weapon and all that, but they were wrong,” said Raab, who majored in biology at the University of Illinois before joining the Israel Defense Forces. “That’s what you have snipers for.”

After Salem was shot, his father, Montasser, 51, rushed to the site, and tried to collect his sons’ bodies for burial, but was also fatally injured by a sniper."

"When asked how his squad decided whether to shoot unarmed Palestinians, Raab said: “Its a question of distance. There is a line that we define. They don’t know where this line is, but we do.”

"In total, Raab says his “team” had killed 105 people by the time his deployment in Gaza ended. “That’s really impressive,” he said of the toll."

From the Guardian the only mainstream media worth reading, it makes grim copy the shooting and killing Palestinians is like a video game to the IDF.

Yet what he was doing was on behalf of a Govt seeking the return of hostages many of which are actual corpses - everything they say and do are contradictions to cover up genocidal mass murder and frankly psychopathic tendencies

The bombing of multi-story Taybe tower building with missiles carries on the wanton destruction it sends a clear message to the UK government prepare for two million some are severely injured refugees. Start helping to airlift the sick out of Gaza, because we didn’t help any Palestinians so far

If heaven forbid there was another 9/11 type incident on American soil I really don't know how the current adminstration would play it for political purposes.

Probably invite Bibi over to make another bigoted statement about Muslims and calling for Israel and the US to wipe them all out.

Not really serious.... but the Israelis are showing they know how to demolish tower blocks.

Piers morgan playing dumb

Netanyahu rejecting multiple ceasefire deals, only offering ridiculous ones (in the latest instance seemingly to get the negotiators together into Qatar so that he could then bomb them), violating and breaking ceasefires as well as bombing, starving and shooting his own hostages kinda gives the game away that he doesn't really care about the hostages. That and them explicitly saying that the hostages are 'not the most important thing'.

I imagine if you put his family’s bodies on the ground, peppered with bullet holes, he’d feel differently.

What's happening with Starmer recognising the state of Palestine. Wasn't it if Israel didn't behave themselves he would go forward with his promise. I mean theve gone even more Genocidal.

By all accounts its around today's date the decision was suppose to be made.
Won’t happen, the Israeli lobby won’t allow it.

I quoted six tower blocks yesterday ………then Netanyahu openly said “they demolished Fifty tower blocks” with an evil smirk on his face.

They use bulldozers and controlled dynamite demolition, the Americans are stationed in Israel so maybe that’s where the explosive experience comes from. We sent two support ships to support Israel it’s laughable now they don’t need our support but it doesn’t stop Starmer doing his best to lend a helping hand

I have mentioned in other threads that I believed the killing of Bin Laden was wrong. I won't bore everyone again, I mention it because now Arsen Ostrovsky, a Human Rights Lawyer has an article in the Daily Telegraph.
He basically states that everyone in the west cheered when American special forces went into Pakistan and killed (murdered) Bin Laden
America violated Pakistani Sovereignty and broke international law but nobody cared. Ostrovsky is saying why is it any different when Israel do it.

I'm afraid he has a point.

(I await the backkash)

No backlash from me, people are much more aware of what’s going on internationally and we are able to research any subject at the touch of switch because of the internet and social media.

An American ICU nurse leaves a Gaza hospital today, she finished today after five weeks of volunteering to treat the wounded of Israeli bombardment.

In her moving farewell, she pays tribute to the courage of Gaza’s doctors and nurses and prays for the strength of a people enduring relentless war and hunger.

It sounds like an oversimplification. It seems reasonable because a simplistic explanation is still an explanation. But the problem is that it doesn't tell the whole story.
