Imagine if, in the end, they strip titles off City and Chelsea and award them to the runners up.
Their ‘beauty of the PL is it’s hugely competitive’ would be interesting to see, as it would mean, save for 2 blips with Blackburn and Leicester, every PL would have been won by the 3 red shirts.
Under the ‘new rules’ Jack Walker likely wouldn’t have been allowed to bankroll Blackburn and Leicester were done under FFP and so wouldn’t ever be allowed to happen again.
