City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

As he says, we can sleep easier this weekend knowing Burnley v Liverpool is a level playing field and the outcome unknown...

A ****. A simple one at that.
He is the excuse for a sports
journalist that I despise the absolute most. I wish City legals would go after him. My dislike of Delooney, the Harris twins, Roan, Slimy, Raith Al Samaras, Mathew Syed, Conn Ogden, Raith al Samaras, Alison Rudd, Sam Lee, Ladyman et al totally pale into insignificance when compared to my loathing of this odious creature.

I hate Wrexham because of him and every week I hope that his grandsons' kids footy team get thrashed. The fact anyway married him amazes me, let alone procreate with him slobbering all over some woman. Yuk.

He is a vile vitriol spouting ' grubby' excuse for a human. I wish him nothing but bad fortune especially when there is the next round of redundancies at the Fail.

People are getting the idea that it is a victory from the three journalists who have covered this whole saga from the outset. All three journalists believe that this paves the way for our sponsorships to be approved. Much gets said about the reliability of sports journalists on here and, to a great extent, I agree with their adversarial views of them. Nevertheless, on this particular issue, Keegan, Ziegler and Lawton have proven themselves to be reliable. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that City have entered into a settlement and have not merely dropped the case. This would surely imply that both the PL and City are getting something of value.
Get off your horse and drink your milk.

A level playing field, thats hilarious. The dippers have probably spent more this summer than Burnley have spent in their premier league history

Quick reader. Impressive.
Thank you. It is unfortunate that the more revealing details are redacted. However, reading the document does not really alter my view of the matter: it was ultimately about securing the Etihad deal. I believe the Puma agreement paved the way for the Etihad deal and enabled all parties to emerge from this situation with their honor more or less intact.

I think if you take my responses as a whole they are reasonable and polite. But everyone entitled to their own view.
Sticking to the facts and staying neutral on a City thread about 115 is always going to jump out from the page. If you were a known United fan and answered exactly as you do, nobody would give you a second.

While on the one hand I much prefer it when the facts point towards City being blameless on all counts what’s the point of an echo chamber all the time?

The thing is, if you changed your style you may well become less believable so you can’t win. You are also answering a lot of questions in a short space of time so you are more likely to be regarded as dismissive sometimes.

I like the fact that I can search your name and get unbiased analysis and the rest of the time join in with the echo chamber reassurance.

Horses for courses but it’s a better thread with your comments than without in my opinion.

Teacher's pet.

While uncertain, Haaland's 9.5-year agreement, combined with Puma's 10-year record partnership and several major new deals secured by our competitors, should provide sufficient leverage to see the Etihad agreement approved by Nielsen upon resubmission.
So as Stoned Rose said....Nobody on HERE knows ....ah well the wait goes on
