That’s any true blue wants. Fucked his boyhood club off for us, tried his best, contributed well and won a shed load of cups. For whatever reason it’s time to part ways.

I'm not going back and forth with you every 5 days. If you like Doku and feel bad for him and think he's great, that's totally fine. I was posting in the Jack Grealish thread, giving him a little praise and mad that we have Doku instead. Nothing personal and I support whoever is out there, just frustrating watching our attack is all

Good for them, but unless there was anything specifically stipulated in the loan agreement, it would suggest that the fee for a permanent transfer will need to be negotiated between clubs.

He could win premier league player of the year at Everton, go to the world cup and win us the world cup, win the Balon d'or and Everton still wouldn't be willing to pony up £50m for him with 12 months left on his contract. Its a baffling clause. They'll offer substantially less and we'll have no leverage and be forced to accept whatever they offer.

Lol he is contracted to City until 2027. We can sell him elsewhere. Why would he want to stick around that club for longer than a season anyways

I’m not sure the last part is true. We don’t have to sell him to Everton if they don’t meet the sum in the release clause.

If all the above happens, there will be plenty of other clubs willing to pay 50m if Everton don’t.

I thought the option was £50 mill ,if he has that good a year and they won’t pay, others might.
