A lot of us see that Jack is the much better player and are confused why we continue to see Doku run out of bounds when Grealish is excelling at Everton, when we could have used him here, helping to keep possession and not turn it over and over and over

100% right but a lot can't see it too. With doku they see skills, with haaland they see goals (in easier games) with dias they see confident gesturing. They can't see the footballing deficiencies these players have and the imbalance to the team these players cause.

With Jack's deleted Instagram post about when he last started 3 games in a row I think it suggests a falling out with Pep over not starting enough games.
Im not a fan of grealish personally nice chap but when a team parks the bus he was ineffective however doku is hardly pulling up trees.

Yeah with his 1 assist and zero goals in 24. the recency bias in this here in crazy. Grealish didn’t do nothing beside passing the ball back. Now he gets 2/4 assists for his teammates scoring bangers and people act like he dribbled through a defense and put the ball on a plate for them. No one is going to defend against Everton with 10 players. Of course he is going to excel there.

If Doku wasn’t isolated on the outside like an NBA forward being put on ISOLATION for width only - with an inside fullback who‘s actually a wingback that has to change positions for whatever reasons - then I think Doku would play better. No wingers will excel in our slow play and non existent outside game where all we do is pass to the wingers and hope they dribble through 3 players.

Not disagreeing but last season he wasn’t.
Jack has been nothing special since his one very good season.
Even in that season his form dipped in the run in.

I find it a little weird myself, preferring to support players while they are here and moving on when they're not. I wish him well, and Everton too. He seems a great bloke and they're a decent club.

The problem with Jack is he can't stay fit, he'll pull up lame in a week or two and all the 'why did we let Jack go' will die down. Grealish fit and in form is a great player, we gave him 2 years and he didn't find either fitness or form.

Hope he continues playing well for Everton as he'll take points off our rivals and get us £50 million but I'd bet he'll be sitting on his arse slapping the turf and signalling to the bench to be subbed off before the end of September

To be fair to Jack I think he was just illustrating his fitness struggles over the past couple years. When people started seeing it as a dig at Pep he deleted it.
