Absolutely loved it today..we played a shit team who have caused us problems because we play too high a line against them..but today we were deeper and they didn't get behind us very often.
Erling was fantastic..scored two and was great defensively when needed.and he ran them ragged.
Phil was excellent too..great chasing of the ball when they got possession.
Doku terrified them and they couldn't cope with him.
Khus, Josko, Ruben and Nico O were all excellent..
Bernie chased them down Rod is still getting match fit ..great debut from Donna too.
Considering we didn't really have a proper pre season it will take a while for thing to click into place but we will get there.
It was a great win and a fitting tribute to Ricky.

Excellent win, the boys all worked so hard. Foden was my Motm, good tribute to Hatton.

The stats from the game were amazing, we seem to be playing counter attack or something. Maybe it was just for Utd. Oh and Donnarumma was brilliant.

Can anyone explain via the LotG why Taylor did not award us a free kick for a blatant handball five or ten yards outside the Rag penalty area. The ball bounced up quickly but it hit the palm of the defender's hand and bounced down rather kindly when refs award some of the most dubious penalties each week when a ball grazes an upper arm with the defender trying to get his arm out of the way. My own explanation is that Taylor didn't want to give us a rather interesting free with Erling on top heading form!
