United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Exactly mate, I was trying my best to avoid the “racial” element of my post but 99% of them didn’t look your “typical” city fan, but then how did they get tickets?? & more importantly how the fuck did they think it’s acceptable to have half a rag scalf round their neck? it sickens me I fuckin despise them like nearly all of us do ctid
I wasn't being racist, by the way. I'm probably classed as a tourist these days. I'll be over for the Burnley game, but there's no way on God's green earth that I'll be buying one of those monstrosities. I'll probably buy a programme maybe a pin badge. That'll be my "souvenir".

We deserved the win but still some concerns. The positives were that Donnaruma just gave us presence and his save was fantastic. And we defended really well. All the back 4 were great. But Rodri is gonna need quite a few games, Reijnders is also going to need time as the game looked too fast at times and watching Bernardo made me feel sad. His legs have just gone. Attacking wise Haaland was great, Foden really good til he tired and it was great to see Doku look so sharp with end product.

The defence was pretty firm all game, all players helped out. Khusanov -how impressive was he? Very calm and quick, some great tackles. Dias has taken some stick of late, and rightly so but he did well today. I thought he marshalled the defence, did a lot of shouting and ordering about. Kept others out of trouble, pulled them away.

Excellent result and after 2 defeats that was just what the doctor ordered. Not perfect and we still look a bit vulnerable down the left side, but from an attacking perspective we caused Utd all sorts of problems. Key picks today were Haaland, Doku and Foden who in the first half just ran the show.

Smashed the rags happy days, some brilliant performances erling, foden, doku, but playing Bernardo out wide is like having 10 men :/, & 1 more fuckin major gripe the amount of half & half scarfs I saw in our end was sickening, I’d strangle every one if it was possible :-/
Up there with the worst I’ve ever seen for amount of h’n’h scarves today (along with Liverpool at home last season).

How any Blue can wear ‘UNITED’ in red+black writing or ‘LIVERPOOL’ in red+white writing around their necks is so far beyond my realms of understanding. Utterly weird behaviour.

I don’t even have red sauce on my burger or hotdog on a matchday, never mind wear red clothing or have their name around my neck on derby day.

Always good to beat that lot. Doku, Foden, Haaland and Khusanov stood out for me. And a great debut from Donnarumma.

Not perfect, but much much better than the last couple of games.

15 of our last 17 league goals against these pricks have been scored by Erling or Phil

Erl is the joint top scorer in PL derbies , and Phil is one behind him

Madness

Yea from all the analysis videos I’ve watched. He can be really great and sometimes not so great. Today was one of those good games where he barely has any flaws.
he still needs to cut out the fouls in bad positions. again united had very very dangerous free kicks he gave away like i think he did another time earlier this season

Donnarumma is the signing of the season, up there with us getting Haaland, I have real sympathy for Trafford as he’s going to be back up for quite a while, but our new keeper dominated the box and gave everyone confidence. Not getting carried away and Arsenal will be a real test, but on such a poignant day it’s nice to get a win. Also worth mentioning the way the Utd fans fully joined in with the tribute to Ricky Hatton. FairPlay.
