If it's just about the numbers then which bit of migration do they want to reduce specifically? 400k of 1m are students, 300k come to work and contribute. The small boat arrivals are worth less than 10% of the total.

Just like Labour's intention to reduce annual household energy bills by £300 and he expected it to have happened by now, when they actually said by 2030Labours is to restaff the processing centres to clear the backlog, reduce the number of hotels in use and forge diplomatic solutions to small boats/gangs.

Once we've left it, suspended our membership, passed UK laws to allow us to ignore it, or whatever... Then we can start tackling the problem.
