Are you saying it’s dropping faster or slower than anticipated?270 left. So it’s gonna drop than anticipated
135 as of 13:20. Think it's open to anyone 24,500 and aboveAnyone know how many is left?
Just answering my own question but after deciding to travel without a ticket I suddenly became eligible for the revised criteria.Does anyone seriously follow the club advice and not book any flights until they're guaranteed a ticket?
The club usually get the criteria spot on but they were way off this timeJust answering my own question but after deciding to travel without a ticket I suddenly became eligible for the revised criteria.
If I had followed the club advice and waited until 10am this morning then I could have taken advantage of Easyjet's Manchester-Nice-(Tuesday-Thursday) return flights for just £928.12
My loss!
I agree that they frequently get it right but not sure they've got a single set of criteria correct yet this season. I think in the Champions League they always struggle to gauge interest. I remember them saying Young Boys would sell at about 20k on the cup scheme and it didn't even sell out!The club usually get the criteria spot on but they were way off this time

I honestly think the club are caught between two stools for the Champions League as so many Premier League regulars just can't be arsed, and it's not as easy as just reducing the cost because we had the same issue when it was all a novelty in 11/12I agree that they frequently get it right but not sure they've got a single set of criteria correct yet this season. If there aren't 20,000 lapsed Blues with 3 or 4 games purchase history then we're fucking up badly somewhere.I honestly think the club are caught between two stools for the Champions League as so many Premier League regulars just can't be arsed, and it's not as easy as just reducing the cost because we had the same issue when it was all a novelty in 11/12
Make it too easy to get a ticket and everyone complains about being surrounded by non City fans, plus we'll have loads of crowd trouble v Galatasaray.
Make it too rigid and we struggle to sell out, especially the first game.
However, as many of us keep posting, anything around 50,000 is a good crowd, and far higher than those rose tinted memories of the early 70s when we were the ECWC holders and still struggling for more than 30,000 against the likes of Linfield and Honved, despite it being far cheaper
There definitely are, but if they can't be arsed, then what are the club supposed to do?If there aren't 20,000 lapsed Blues with 3 or 4 games purchase history then we're fucking up badly somewhere.
Big surprise this 1000 allocation and dropping down this low
No surprise to me whatsoever with such an antiquated criteria system.Big surprise this 1000 allocation and dropping down this low
