Seat Counters 25/26

6453 left for napoli

600 or so today

quite therapeutic this....
Perhaps I've missed a block somewhere but I only got 6061 from my count just then. Either way, they're still shifting. There's often a late surge of sales for CL group games so can see another few thousand shifting between now and Thursday evening

City's ticket structure is too complicated for a 'casual' fan to understand well in advance of a game.

Simplify it.....it can only help !!
Exactly!

My partner and I are both 61, but whereas she's more of an occasional fan, I don't think it's that unreasonable to expect a simple process that allows her to sit next to me at the Napoli match, even if it means me relocating

Unfortunately that process currently involves me being on the phone for more than an hour.

I wish they'd just sell them out. Get them available to all season ticket holders next window. I'm desperate to start begging for tickets for my lads (who live in Huddersfield) but you can't do it on here until it sells out!
I've had to wait till it dropped down in order to get mine. It'll be my lads first away match so I can't wait

Yep first home CL group games rarely sell out. Even home v Napoli in 2011, our first European Cup game in 40years, the attendance was 44,026.

43,607 v Borussia Dortmund 12/13

37,509 v AS Roma 14/15

45,310 v Shakhtar Donetsk 17/18

40,111 v Lyon 18/19

38,062 v RB Leipzig 21/22

The Napoli game was restricted and went offline a few days before the game with strict selling criteria.

The less than 2k tickets unsold could have included the away bit, the max was 46k then in europe due to advertising boards and front and camera position seats left empty.

Yeah, I don't remember seeing too many empty seats at that one. Pretty sure Napoli sold out the away end though

Since when did stadiums not being at capacity actually become a newsworthy thing? It’s bizarre.
Ever since social media engagement has become the be all and end all of everything. The saddest part is that most of the people who criticise fan bases for not selling out a particular game have probably never bought a ticket themselves in their lives.

Yeah Napoli sold out there end, it was 2 tiers then before the new stand was built.
They were very vociferous, was only a few seats away from them, enjoyed that match
And yes our ends were pretty icy full
Enjoyed that match on and off the pitch

Prices aren't bad for Europe's premier club competition but too many of our fans don't hold the CL in high esteem. - But they'll all turn up on Sunday to see us play a team that didn't qualify for any of the three European tournaments.
Spot on! I was surrounded by tourists and half n half wankers on Sunday. Doubt it'll be the case so much tomorrow.

Are we allowed to transfer tickets to other season ticket holders or do the same rules apply as per the league??
Different rules for cup games but there’s issues at the minute which are preventing supporters from being able to transfer.

You can try and call the ticket office but there’s wait time of up to 2 hours. Not surprised when so many are unable to transfer online.
