Seat Counters 25/26

CB level 3 has been taken off sale, there were hundreds in those blocks earlier today, so will look better on TV ?
Only first 10 rows were sold so that’s going to make the seat counting job much harder!

I think that they have given tickets away to schools etc. At the weekend there were 10,000 tickets left and sales were at an absolute stand still.

I know sales generally pick up before the game, and the positive Derby results will have encouraged a few more to go. But I'm not having that 8,000 have sold since the weekend, absolutely no chance.

Im with you on this. Local fans haven't bought so they are trying to get last minute sales to day trippers. No way does the entier lower and second tier sell out every seat whilst thosands are for sale in the top tier.

Changing the subject from Napoli and Monaco anybody have an update on Brentford tickets please

It wasn't quite 10,000 left to be fair. On Saturday teatime there were 8742 left according to tonea's post. Assuming CB3 has been taken off sale rather than sold out then about 3000 remain which would mean nearly 6000 sold. Sales never ground to a complate halt and there was a definite surge following the derby win and a further surge following the new criteria today. I don't doubt that there have been some giveaways but a good few thousand have genuinely sold since Saturday. If that criteria had been relaxed a few days ago we could be looking at a sell out by now

Interestingly, over 100 tickets appeared in one of the first tier blocks a short while ago and they sold very quickly

This one is an odd one. There is one block for sale in the lower tier and nothing else. But there are about half of the tickets available in the south stand upper tier, and these are cheaper. Why is the lower tier off sale through City sources? There's no way they are all sold. I've never quite understodd why they take sections off sale for periods. I used to think it was to reserve them for walk ups, or even to ensure the empty seats aren't visible, but now I'm not sure.

I've been following the sales quite closely and there were plenty of lower tier blocks in the North Stand with availability this morning but none with more than about 60 or 70 tickets in each and that was before the criteria was relaxed at 10am, whereas the rest of the first tier was sold out. I think that, despite the more expensive prices, the first tier invariably sells out quicker than the the third tier - a bit like a lot of our Wembley matches in that sense. And SS3 always seems to sell the slowest out of the third tier stands, probably because more fans prefer a side view

I bow to your judgement mate (and the fact that one block is for sale backs you up) but the lower tier usually sells out first when it is cheaper, but I think that the SS upper is cheaper this time. I'd also be amazed if they've suddenly sold all the odd and single seats down there so quickly. It just doesn't feel right to me at the moment. I've got a little Seat Counter's barometer going on to give some kid of reading: one of the south stand blocks had exactly 500 seats in it an hour ago. The way that one ticks down should give an idea of the rate of sales.

Yeah, I did say to Eastmidsblue that no doubt there have been some giveaways over the past few days so I think the real numbers sold over the past few days may lie somewhere between the difference of what was showing at the weekend and what's showing now.

I suppose if they are discounting to students or whatever it makes sense to do it with the single seats which are harder to sell. Maybe that's it.

Monaco - 86 seats left. I reckon there will be tickets available at 4pm tomorrow.

If there are tkts left when do City release the next pts criteria for Brentford
