2025/26 NFL

My wife grew up a Giants fan, season tickets for years. I did not.

I told her if my kids want to watch NFL and support a team, fine. But I'll not force them to be a Giants fan (they are not local to us). They can make their own decision. After Wellington Mara died, his kids and Tish have fucked the club up and don't give a fuck about it beyond making money.

Old man Mara loved the Giants. The owners now love owning a team and the money it puts in their pockets.
Didn't I hear they have sold 10% to the Koch family, pocketing a cool $1 Billion and still retaining 90% ownership.

How will they cope on such a meagre return ?

I’m going to New Orleans soon and I’m hoping to get to a Saints game.
They seem readily available on seatgeek etc but I’m not actually sure if I can buy them or they are limited to US residents, anyone with experience of buying nfl tickets as non US?

So long as youre registered on the site you should be fine. Try Stubhub as well - Ive used that site for Baseball Tickets buying from the UK before travelling and had no problem at all.

The Saints are shit at the moment so youll have no problem buying a ticket.

Cheers mate, I registered and did get through to checkout but didn’t try to buy but I’ll give it a go.

Yeah, I’m a saints fan so it’s been going great so far hah.

Enjoy the trip.

Im a Bucs fan and we were shit for the first 15 years that I followed them so can empathise.

I keep swapping the team I support every season. There's got to be a way of connecting with one team. Surely?

Seahawks are probably the one I want to connect with. Seattle is similar in weather to Yorkshire. Is that reason enough?

I think I used Ticketmaster resale to get Redskins tickets before going to Washington.
Got to see the GOAT play for the Patriots.
Didn’t put my e-tickets in my wallet. Used my roaming data to get them then forgot to switch it off. Cost me over £100 :-(

I’m in the same boat.

I can’t bond with any. I’ve tried but none of them stick.

Funnily enough I also tried Seattle. It rains, it’s something not obvious and I like the TV show Frasier.
I’ve also tried with Detroit (City’ish colours) but I just cheer on my bets/fantasy league players more than a specific team.

Doubt I’ll ever choose one now.

I have an NBA team, picked them easily. No idea why I can't stick with one.

Just finished the Cowboy's documentary on Netflix, even though no love for them I thought it was great and I did have little smile during last episode re Jimmy Johnson

I get them from the US on fanatics.com more choices, better deals but you have to pay shipping but if you buy several items this covers the cost as the stuff is cheaper
What about import duty?

I bought some stuff from Miami Heat online and when it came about 2 weeks later i got a bill from HMRC

Wasn't pretty, but Buffalo got the win!

Miami were decent for most of the game until a late roughing the punter penalty and Tua throwing an interception.
