I'm not at all looking forward to this, will break me up seeing Kevin in their colours.

Teamwise I'm not at all sure we have what's needed to beat them.

It's unfortunate we've turned to dross since this new CL format started!!

If Kev scores i hope he celebrates, not that modern " look at me, i'm so very sad" utter bollocks reaction
But not the reaction ( as Barry Davies famously described on MOTD) of Frannie Lee when he scored a screamer for Derby County on his return at Maine Road "just look at his face"!
I think KDB will score tonight and it will be a much closer contest than many on here are hoping for !

Most important thing is play a proper back four again. Let’s get back to basics and build on the derby win. We need to be hard to beat/score against.

I remember Ronaldo being cheered by the rags right up to kick off when he returned to the swamp with RM…it really put him off his game.

Let’s hope the same for KDB

Thats the spirit, lets just not bother turning up, finishing 3rd in the prem to not having enough to beat a team with rasmus hjolund up front, its amazing how terrible we have become.

Anyone who doesn't see we have become a shadow of our former recent selves, is imo in complete denial and needs to wake up and taste the Tiramisu pdq.

whilst there is some truth in this, to call us "dross" is going far too far

Looking forward to seeing Kev—got a feeling he'll be on top form. They seem to be managing him better at Napoli; it’s not the same helter-skelter football like we have here. He looks fitter, sharper. Wouldn’t be surprised if he bags a worldie against us—but hopefully we’ll outscore them.

We’ll need to keep an eye on McTominay too. He'll have a point to prove, being an ex-Rag. Decent player—reminds me a bit of Declan Rice. Tall, athletic, and chips in with a few goals as well. It’s going to be a tough game tonight. Could go either way.

Everyone has their own opinions mate and what I witnessed for the most part in last seasons CL campaign was, in my world dross.

The Al Hilal, Spuds and Brighton games haven't unfortunately, helped my view on that!! I'm waiting in hope to be pleasantly surprised!

Yeah get celebrating, wouldn’t begrudge him an Uwe Rösler style point to the name on his back aimed at our bench and boardroom on the second tier. Nothing he could do could diminish his legendary status with our support.

I always think players should always celebrate goals against their old clubs. Do it for your new supporters, don’t not do it for your old ones.

NAPOLI injuries:

Romelu Lukaku (thigh)
Amir Rahmani (hamstring)
Alex Meret (muscle)
Nikita Contini (broken hand)
Luca Marianucci
Pasquale Mazzicchi

So their main striker and main goalkeeper are out, plus their back-up keeper.
They’re going to have their third choice keeper (ex-Rag, Milinkovoc-Savic) in nets.
