I think they're perfectly fine as a commemorative match artifact. Absolutely not for wearing to said match or ever.

For example, I have a city-hamburg scarf that used to hang on my wall because that match was incredible, despite the 2 leg result. Never really got a feeling like that from the champions league. Did I wear it to the ground, fuck no.

Fuck them fucking diabolical shit half and half scarves right off !!!

The club have got bigger fish to fry, fans should take the initiative.

Scumbag street hawkers selling this stuff should be battered and robbed to dissuade them from returning. “Neutrals” wearing the scarves should be spared the initial violence but left in no doubt that should they subsequently don the scarf a painful moment of reckoning will arrive.

Utter tit

Not really bothered, think it's good if you are a young fan v a top European team, don't understand getting one with another English team (except lower league teams fans in the cups) but definitely not half and half derby
Correct.

Far more shit going on with footy than to be bothered about his.

We are already treated like shite as fans. Searched and have to follow a huge fucking list of do's and dont's at the match before you even get in.

Adding something as trivial as this to the list is daft.

They are mainly worn by kids or tourists, I don't have a problem with either.

If they cheer an oppo' goal in the home end though, they have to be prepared for what transpires.

Stop the sellers outside Etihad tram stop and outside the ground bus side South Stand selling them would be a start.

Guy got rightfully sacked for wearing a rag shirt in our end. Why should you not be kicked out for donning a scarf with the rags/other clubs on it? If you wore their jersey in the home end, surely you’d be kicked out. Simply shouldn’t be allowed to wear other teams’ clothes inthe City end.

Has any die hard fan ever bought a half and half scarf?
Some have seen away fans on CL nights when then walk up from town together with a fair few wearing them, assume they are pretty die hard fans. Particularly remember a Bayern game and them walking up with their drums loads hd them. Wonder if it’s more accepted in Europe. Not a fan but not that bothered either.
