The Rise of the Far Right

Expressing "complete revulsion" of others sounds personal to me.

Because I'm revolted when smart people make themselves stupid.

You posted....

The march was organised by a violent criminal racist, was financed and addressed by a foreign oligarch urging the violent overthrow of UK democracy, and by all accounts featured highly offensive and racist chants throughout, together with threats and violence to police and various others.

Yet you seem determined not to see this for what it is: support for racism.

And yet the crowd were chanting Ben Habib's name, the leader of the party Robinson has joined. It ended with a black Pentecostal choir singing Jerusalem. When even the Guardian did a piece on how the march was full of what I think it called regular folk, Trevor Philips the same.

I posted that twitter post earlier from that black lesbian and we got a mini character assassination on her, saying she was anti Muslim and posted GB News stuff, she was accused of being a paid shill, it's as obvious as the nose on your face why she does that if you dig even a little below the surface, but no one did.

And it's that "no one did" that feeds my revulsion, No one seems interested in the obvious anomalies in that march, stuff that doesn't chime with the off the shelf narrative. This is the deliberate avoidance of anything that does not fit, it is manufactured stupidity and that's what I find revolting.

Otherwise I'm sure you and all the other nice folk in here are just that, nice, kind to children and small animals and of course you're a blue so obviously you're not beyond saving ;-)

Not even Ben Habib and Tommy Robinson?

Sadiq Khan....

"All those that peddle the politics of fear and division"

Khan draws a line.

But no line for you?
Of course, exclusion not based on the colour of your skin but the quality of your character seems ok to me.

So no inclusion for her then.

Can you help me out here, can you give me a list of the types of folk we're not including in this inclusive Britain?

Easy.

Anyone who doesn’t conform to the group think of the progressives.

There can be no deviation whatsoever on opinion.

By all means continue to try to convince yourself that a match organised by a criminal racist wasn't racist.

I get the impression you're finding it difficult.

And thanks for finding me revolting, but not in a personal way. Very reassuring.

Anyway, I'm off to the match. Hopefully footie will continue to be intolerant of racism, though if your attitude to find excuses for support of racism holds more widely, it won't stay that way for long.

I'd like to say that was a nice swerve, but for a nice person that was not very nice at all.

It wasn't honest either.

Of the two of us there's only one who wants Robinson, Musk and Habib stopped and I'll give you a clue which one of us it is....It's not you.

You've got to know your enemy mate.

Ignorance is not strength.

Of course.

And who gets to decide?
You already know the answer.
Rights and responsibilities are already enshrined in law, domestic and international.
Protection of minorities from the tyranny of the majority is or should be a fundamental principle.

Please don’t engage with me further on this, thanks.

The reality is as more and more money ends up in the hands of the uber wealthy the middle classes and working classes are going to feel the pinch. And understandably will be pissed off.
The obvious thing to do would be to organize society along more socialist lines and get a better distribution of income and wealth. However that's exactly what the uber wealthy and the governments they pay for don't want. So they spend vast sums of money to create movements that blame others whether that be by race, class, sexual identity and so forth. It's a super melange and it achieves its purpose.
Noone is blaming Musk, Besos and their ilk for our woes. In fact Musk is seen as a hero by some.
So the people at the march is made up of all sorts. Some will be racists, most not.

However I do think people have to use their nous here and realize they're be used by people who don't have their best interests at heart.

The same posters who are more than happy to accuse Labour supporters of Stalinism because they stand up for Corbyn, get the vapours if anyone suggests their opinions have a whiff of fascism about them.

I think the very same thing. But my nickname is Joe Stalin. So, I may be biased.

For the record, I am not a Stalinist. We need a market economy. What I want is we have a look at how 80% of the wealth created, goes to the top 1%, with another 10% going to the top 5%.

Now, I'm not a mathematician, but here me out. This isn't right. It isn't fair. No working class person is asking for the moon, encrusted with diamonds. Well I am, but I deserve it. A fair paying job, that enables them to have a good life. Own their home. We have a better NHS, our education improves. Jobs are created by doing things needing done for decades, roads, flood defences, railways extended to near pre Beeching slaughter. Look it up if you aren't familiar with the guy. We can achieve this with maybe a dip in demand for Super yachts. The workers can then build more, less than ocean going liner proportions, boats, whose decks, one can traverse without the need of setting up base camp.

Old cunts looked after. No nippers in poverty. We might never achieve it, but its a certainty, we never will, if we don't at least try.

There, I said it.

No, I'll not being doing that, put me on block if you don't like your dogma exposed for what it is.

But not revolted when racists act racist.

Go figure.

Too late you already did.
If you think that the protection of minorities is dogma then you be you.

That's just a slogan to you, do you even know what that means? And even if you do, how are you going to protect them when you refuse to find out what your enemy actually is. If that march is a threat to minorities is it not the best course of action to find out as much as you can about the people on it, this movement has traction as never before, I repeat as never before, so what's different now? Coz your tired slogans clearly ain't working so let's find out what will.

But I guess it's cosier to just roll out the same old cliches, the manufactured stupidity of the left.

No, it’s not just a slogan to me.
Like many others on here I don’t live within your homogeneous British culture and nor do I want to. So kindly fuck off with your manufactured sloganising and pigeon-holing of anyone who doesn’t agree to your bullshit caricatures.

That as far as she's concerned it's Khan that peddles the politics of fear and division.

This is Khan's vision for London....

Inclusive, but with caveats, caveats that don't include her.

Watching that brief video, what are the caveats that she has been excluded from?

I don’t know who she is, is she someone popular?

I’ll tell you why it’s got traction more than ever before, if 1 racist is in a crowd of non-racist he’ll say nothing, 100 in a crowd are bolder and can get away with it.

With the media constantly showing Farage, Robinson , Tice etc the racists in our society feel more powerful do they all come out of the woodwork, they now feel they can say things without consequences. They’ve power in numbers, and if we don’t stand up to that, call it for what it is then they fucking win.

You looking for deeper meanings into why do many turned out is missing the bigger picture, it’s because they feel they can.

The country is drifting further to the right, media, social media, society. We’re being pushed here by the billionaires who can make more through division.

Time to stand up to it and call it what it is.

To be fair, you’re creating a binary yourself here too.

The behaviour of the extremes is very very similar. Most aren’t in either.
