Half & Half Scarves Poll

Do you want City to ban Half & Half Scarves

Ban them. Certainly for domestic games.
I recall a few seasons ago in the Summerbee Bar there were 2 Dippers who had obviously somehow got tickets in the home section. Otherwise they wouldn't have got entry into the bar. I only noticed them because of their accents and they were wearing half & half scarves and once they had bought a drink they both turned their scarves around and tied them with the red half clearly to the front. Asking for trouble.
The other thing I don't get is people wearing them at Derby games. I saw plenty last Sunday. No self respecting Blue ( or rag, for that matter) would wear the opponents' colours. They're an abomination and should be permitted for CL games only, at a push.
Tourists

Unfortunately half and half are out in full force tonight, and one of the guys selling them outside was a West Ham fan

The poll is interesting because what it is actually asking is would you like revenue streams through tourism to be higher or lower? Catch 22 here because I think the majority of us would prefer revenue streams to be higher for the benefit of the club. The half and half scarfs sicken me though, and that is anywhere you see them.

The club dont get any money from half and half sales it's the dodgy guys outside selling them

I saw loads of half and half scarves around me but they were all City fans. Still loads of season-ticket holders not showing for these games. I don't think we are going to reverse that trend.

I’ve often wondered what happens to the unsold ones.
Land filled like most of the sold ones They cost so little to make and sell for massive make up, the sellers just chuck what they don’t sell seen the guy at gate 10 after the matches will loads unsold

5 pounds before the game (which is lower than usual), 10 pounds after the game... strange way of getting rid of them
I dont understand your point, so you think the guy outside who looked like a tinker, and was happy to tell me he was a west ham fan is employed.by the club?

Has any die hard fan ever bought a half and half scarf?
Bought my only one after the CL Final walking up to the car park.......I didn't get a flag as someone had half-inched it before we got to our seats, so wanted a souvenir before the mayhem broke out.

Might be hypocritical, but I hate seeing them at the Etihad, sums up what PL football is nowadays, a global cash cow with Tourists everywhere and sanitised atmospheres. However there is a special hatred for when I see them being worn when we are playing against the Dippers and particularly against the Rags

On the whole to me the majority of adults who buy themare normally plastic fans anyhow.
Sadly that seems the way the games going now.

As much as i hate the bastards i cannot see a leeds fan sitting there with a half and half Man U scarf

I have always assumed that these are purely for tourists. A souvenir for someone attending a match as a one off.
I cannot imagine a supporter of any PL team buying one.
I could see an English tourist picking up one at a LaLiga match or an Italian tourist picking one up at a PL match.
I'm guessing a person buying one at a spurs / Chelsea match is not a supporter of either team but is on a London weekend break that also incorporates a trip to a West End show.
