Donnarumma, Khusanov, Cherki, Reijnders, Marmoush, Rodri and Bobb back, Foden looking back to his best, Haaland on fire again, Doku now apparently playing with a lot more freedom.....this squad really exites me and I think has the makings to make the last 10 years look like a practice run.

No reason why it can't start this season even if it takes a few weeks for them to get to know each other properly. Tomorrow's match might not even be that important, there's an awful long way to go and a lot can happen even in a couple of weeks. We should know that better than anyone.

Had to laugh at Van Hecke scoring an own goal late on after he was giving Haaland a bit of shit the other week.

You missed arguably the best player of the lot since he signed for us, certainly our best player last season; Gvardiol.

I don’t think it’s a coïnicdence that we’ve started to look steadier since he’s come back into the side. He’s very good in the air despite only being 6’1” and so calm on the ball.

Dias always looks at his best next to Gvardiol n’all. When they played together in the second half of last season, we barely conceded compared to earlier in the season.

Gvardiol+Dias played together in the final 13 PL games and we only conceded 10 goals and only lost 2 games.

Some Rags weren't happy he didn't start against us. Maybe he's got more to his game than we think....?
