I’d have taken a point before the match, so not too gutted. At least that’s what I keep telling myself. We showed our mettle though and that’s a good sign going forward.
Or at any other point, he played well, maybe take your hating glasses off.Thats where we are up to with nunes, he didnt fuck up for a goal, hurrah
That’s 5 points lost from winning positions this season, both occasions when we were winning with around 20 minutes to go. Very annoying
Considering we managed it for 84 minutes you’ve made yourself look a **** there mate. You can't defend a 1-0 lead for 75 minutes.
We were asking for trouble.
He had numerous crucial headers at the back post today, he was switched on at right back as he could have had a lapse in concentration seen as it's not his position naturally.Or at any other point, he played well, maybe take your hating glasses off.
1 goal in 300 minutes against United, Napoli & Arsenal…that seems like a “decent” defensive showing, no, especially when the lads were under the kosh for the last 80 mins!!By conceding three minutes before FT
Agreed that he was very good today, but in em goal he was in a feckin wrong position....so they equalised by our fault... By just one and only serious our fault.... Life goes on ....If it wasn’t for him we would have conceded a few more.
Donna made a good near post save from a fierce shot, also beat away one that came at him through a crowd of playersWe had the three best chances in the game. Erling's goal, his other chance where he could've passed to Foden for a tap-in and Doku from a tight angle which went across the goal. Don't think Donna Summer had a shot to save other than deflections from set pieces or lumps into the box.
Players were injured and knackered, and we needed to shift formations to blunt their attacking subs.In isolation, that would be a good result. In the wider context of the Brighton and Spurs losses rendering it must-win, it was shit. The subs were self-sabotage, we looked much more secure before them. Piss poor from Pep.
Onwards and upwards.
Needs a big like buttonNeville " Credit it to Arsenal". Stupid rag tawt.
What did Ake do ? Who told Don to came off his line ??Unlucky.
Showed fight and a bit of grit.
Bad from Ake and shows why he's not starting.
Pep taking out Khusonov makes no sense to me. If he’s still there his pace take cares of every issue. Especially when Dias won 1/5 aerial duels.
Nunes sub makes no sense since we didn’t attack. He was great but you asked him to do everything Khusonov can do to a better degree.
Trossard & Eze. Correct.Donna made a good near post save from a fierce shot, also beat away one that came at him through a crowd of players
Partly contributed to by the fact they didn't start any creative playersThe result isn’t bad at all, but what’s really worrying is the huge gap in bench quality compared to Arsenal, especially when it comes to creative players.
