26 | Savinho - 2025/26

Spurs apparently think they can get him in January , personal terms not an issue according to a Tottenham source last week.

I feel there’s talent there but his heads been turned when your heads not in it , you are not going to play to best of your ability. Lack of effort today and from his other appearances this season off the bench.

man, he really is just THE guy to blame huh? There always has to be someone and he's the easiest target for this forum.

I really don't know why people are bombarding him here, he came on to play upfront for a team that wasn't trying to play anymore, there's little he could do.

It is like people never learn. He isn't 25 or in his prime. Based on our recent history with forward players there is more likely than not that a lot of you will look very stupid around april. Even Doku seems to be putting it together now who only last season looked behind Savio in terms of decision making and end product. And he is older

No consistency yet, but very talented for his age. And yes he is, and yes you are completely blind if you don't see that.

Hard game to come into considering how we played, but if we held on to 1-0 no one would be complaining. And considering it is incredible harsh to criticise Savio for us conceding I think people should stay away from this thread until they calm down
He wont be here when hes 25, he doesn't look like he wants to be here past January.

Irrelevant of what talent or progression he can have in the future, he hasn't looked interested in a single minute hes played so far. I wouldn't even start him on Wednesday.

Not really. He requested to leave and unsurprisingly we were open to offers.
It's quite apparent that he's never going to be a fit at this level. I'm all ears if you can persuade otherwise.

Based on what I've seen last season and this Savinho doesn't have the required attitude to make it here, let alone ability. Not closing Eze down is the last straw for me.

Can you imagine Doku or Oscar Bobb standing around like that? I certainly can't.

He could and should have run to close Eze down. He should also have kept the ball better.

I've had the misfortune of seeing some bad attitudes in City shirts over the last 45 years. Three spring to mind (though there are others): Laurent Charvet, Michael Brown and Savinho. The first two were sussed and cleared out and the 3rd will be gone by summer of 26 latest. In the mean time hopefully Oscar Bobb or another young player will get to play instead.

Not exactly fair to him but honestly I feel hes too much of a lightweight and happy go lucky type of player to make it here long term. Maybe Im wrong but he doesnt seem to be responding to the competition too well. Probably he really wanted that Spurs move.

If he was not interested in staying then club should have let him go
He Was in two minds and okay with staying but if it’s affecting his performances then irrespective of what happened or didn’t happen today , this will happen again

Huh?! How about bust a gut for the few minutes left in the game and close people down. I only really saw him once sprinting to close down and that was when he immediately came on. Pressing used to be a strong point of his when he first joined.

If he is two minds to stay or go then he needs to be gone as we haven’t got room for players not 100 percent

Michael Brown?

Only reason I can see Savinho getting the nod today was a bit more pace as a lone attacker than Bobb if we had a quick break. But Oscar would definitely have brought more intelligence and work rate and probably ball retention.
Why not just leave Doku there then who can actually hold the ball up? Couldn’t expect Savinho to do much coming on upfront in that game. Thankless task
