I took this photo on the ferry en route to Twente Enschede, September 1978

That brings back some crazy memories from hitching a lift to Felixstowe sleeping in a bin store and getting free drinks in a bar ( long story ) meeting a very pretty young lady who fell in love with me ( obviously ) getting on supporters coach after game and Helen throwing us off ha ha so many great memories

Two tone parallels, electric green socks and Black Brogues. What was I thinking?

Did you have steel tips on the heels so you made a noise as you walked along the street and ruined the school hall floor as well. Or leave polish marks on people you booted with your cherry red docs.

Of course. Use to steal ‘Blakeys’ from Woolworths, until I could afford to have them added professionally when having them soled and heeled at the cobblers. Happy days mate!
