Rjeinders needs to cement his place on form - at the moment he is the most out of form player amongst the starters but also has the least premier league experience. He should be sidelined until an injury and / or he shows better form. If Kovacic comes back, Phil needs to start and be in the middle on current form and past performance.Not sure sending Phil into exile on the wing works. He is first and foremost a central player. He scored on Sunday from this position and a lot of his goals are scored from central positions. I would go Rodri, Kovacic and Foden.

Does this mean Khusanov isn't injured ??Injury news potential return dates;
Kova 5th October
Marmoush 5th October
Ait-Nouri 19th October
Cherki 1st November
Our midfield isn’t strong enough. That’s known - still needs someone like BalebaIf we are eagerly awaiting Kovacic's return, our midfield isn't strong enough. He's a replacement player and has throughout his career
I reckon it is not a "If", but a fact that the team is missing Kova's stability eagerly.If we are eagerly awaiting Kovacic's return, our midfield isn't strong enough. He's a replacement player and has throughout his career
No, that's just your opinion, certainly not a "fact". Much as I like Kovačić, he'll only be an experienced body when required. IMO of course.I reckon it is not a "If", but a fact that the team is missing Kova's stability eagerly.
Doesn't seem to have been any update in Pep's conference, and he did talk about him quite highly, but he also says he hasn't seen the players yet.Does this mean Khusanov isn't injured ??
I am hoping he returns for Burnley
Be nice if he stayed and you wentGood grief NO!
Yeah, his latest performances have been very promising. My neighbour is waiting for him to crack a few shins or send someone into Row B. Or is that Row2 now?Does this mean Khusanov isn't injured ??

Well that’s very nice to someone who followed City and dedicated time and money to the club as a third generation fan for over 60 years, with two more following me, In comparison to a man who has had one good spell and numerous injuries paid many 10s of thousands of pounds as wellBe nice if he stayed and you went
Kovacic might not be an elite player but he is a very good squad player and the impact of Rodri, and Kovacic's absence from City in Autumn/Winter 2024 hit hard.Good we can sell in January
Nico Gonzalez is Rodri stand inKovacic might not be an elite player but he is a very good squad player and the impact of Rodri, and Kovacic's absence from City in Autumn/Winter 2024 hit hard.
Rodri cannot possibly play every minute of every game. I regard Kovacic as our best alternative to Rodri, and I am sure they can play together too.
I prefer Kovacic.Nico Gonzalez is Rodri stand in
