People say Bobb did not impress. A little yes, but i disagree when people say he lost his magic. The magic is still there, i see it every now and then. Yeah, a little to rare today, but its a question of regularity, regaining confidence as well. not worried just yet.

Professional performance. Pleased for Trafford that he kept a clean sheet, didn’t have much to do but had his angles right for the one that hit the post. Gonzalez played well.

A few of the others showed exactly why they’re playing against Huddersfield in the league cup rather than being picked to play against Arsenal in the PL

Be fair to the young lads.
They are playing against Huddersfield because they are young and at that stage in there development.
Some will be good players.
One might be a top player.

Bobb has been completely overhyped. Not his fault. He is a squad player at best.

Job done. No thrills, no dramas. A thoroughly forgettable game which is pretty much what you want from the earlier rounds of the cup competitions. As long as there are no injuries that's spot on.

Foden and Nico G the best two players today imo - Nico O, Rico, Nunes, good too.

Savinho and Bobb had a lot of the ball and not a lot created, Savinho's crossing in particular was awful but took his goal well.
