Kick off time 20:00 BST.

Dont think we've faced them since those mental knockout games, a lot has changed since then.

Be good to follow up that Napoli win to put us in a comfortable position.

I would imagine Bernardo comes back in and hopefully Rodri too, Pep said he's felt something in his knee.

----------Donnarumma
Nunes--Dias--Gvardiol--O'Reilly
---------------Rodri/Nico
--------Foden----Reijnders
Bernardo--Haaland------Doku

We have Brentford (A) Sunday afternoon afterwards, which is usually a tough game for us.

It’s crucial to get some control back into midfield. Even if that means sticking Phil out wide for the time being.

Donnarumma; Nunes Dias Gvardiol O’reilly; Rodri Kovacic; Foden Reijnders Doku Haaland. 3-1 city

Rodri very questionable. Gvardiol hopes not

Teams like Monaco are the perfect side for us. Try and play football but ultimately will be nowhere near our level.

Nunes
Dias
Gvardiol
Ake

Rodri
Nico

Savinho
Foden
Bobb

Haaland

It's a shame we dont have someone that can come in for Haaland. Not that anyone comes close but would be nice to be able to give haaland a rest and someone to come in who could lead the line.

The trouble is Haaland always wants to play, and doesn't really like resting, or giving any game a miss ... and Pep keeps falling for Haalands puppy dog eyes when he's trying to select his team sheet!

Really hope Bernardo starts this. Surely Pep will select him, esp after his rest today.

Wondered why you said this initially but then remembered he played for them.

You know what the maddest thing is, Silva and Mendy both joined in the same transfer window in 2017.

To say their paths have been 'different ' would be an understatement

I'd give Rodri another night off to ensure he is fully fit. Maybe on the bench if he feels better. No need to risk him. He's too essential.

Don Gigi
Stones - Dias - Gvardiol - Nico
Nico G - Kovacic
Bernie - Foden - Doku
Haaland
Monaco could be a tricky fixture. They're in a decent goal scoring from so far in league and an away fixtures are never simple. Stones, Kova (even for 45-60 mins) and Bernie provide a bit more structure and control versus Nunes, Reijnders and Savinho.

Still, we have more than enough to get a strong result. Going for a 2-nill victory. Doku brace!

Couple of changes. Ake needs a start, nothing on O'Reill, just think it will do him no harm to sit a game out. He has started a lot of games recently and isn't used to it.

Nico to carry on playing, rodri can be on the bench if hes available, any concerns just give him the break. Bernardo back in is a given. Bobb and savinho are interchangeable right now. Reijnders given a rest. Hopefully kovacic is good for a cameo appearance.

Got to use the squad.

Monaco is really not doing well this season. Their coach is at risk of being fired in the coming days. They sold one of their best players, Benseghir, to Leverkusen last summer, which forced them to demand a significant sum for their other, truly best, player, Akliouche. So his transfer to PSG didn't happen. Since then, he's been disappointed and hasn't been playing well. He didn't play in today's defeat against Nantes due to illness. He may be back on Wednesday. Zakaria, their midfield barometer, is out, as is Golovin, both for an extended period.

They have a catastrophic defense with Kehrer and Dier, Bruges massacred them. So, let's just say that any result other than a victory on Wednesday is a poor performance. I hope we get the job done before the 65th minute to give some rest to some guys who have played a lot in recent matches, like Haaland, Doku, Foden...

After successfully passing the toughest test at home against Napoli, we have the chance to travel to Monaco then Villarreal and then host Dortmund and Leverkusen at home, we have the opportunity to make 15/15 points (before going without pressure to Madrid), a big step towards qualifying for the top 8, which will avoid us playing 2 play-off matches in February with the busy schedule, we must not waste this opportunity.

Monaco have the best attack in Ligue 1 so far but a relatively poor defence. They have won their home games. A high-scoring game is a genuine possibility. Can see us scoring 3 goals.

Can't see big changes from Pep.

Donna, Nunes, Stones, Josko, O'Reilly, Nico G, Reijnders, Foden, Bernardo, Doku, Haaland.
Rather have Bernardo next to Nico G/ Rodri and Bobb/ Savinho on the Right instead. Otherwise everything will be on Doku AGAIN.
