Will we win the league this season?

Leicester won the league when the quality of top teams was awful. We were waiting for Pep, LVG was underhwelming United, Guus Hiddink was at Chelsea and Klopp was appointed mid-season.

It's just not comparable - other than to say Glassner's Palace might have had a chance in 2016 too.
 
No. But if we win every game up until the Liverpool game, then beat them - anything can happen

My view is Liverpool are doing well without their 2 100mil plus players doing anything - I’m working on the basis they will improve. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. Let’s see

They had Mahrez and Kante though, who whilst at the time were relative unknowns, both went on to be 2 of the greatest players to play in the PL.

Palace just lost Eze and lost Olise last year. Had they had those 2 I would agree with you.

Mmmm, Liverpool doing well? They are not deserving of their point tally so far and we are only 5 behind. They should improve but I think we will too. It just doesn’t feel like a season that anyone can make a confident prediction, discussing who will win it just seems like a guess at this point. I will go with City, Liverpool or Arsenal!

Liverpool have been terrible most games this season. Riding luck ran out, expect another loss/draw in the league next.

We might be arguing over nothing but I don’t believe in the word ‘deserve’. What happens, happens

Let’s see. But I think next season we’ll run away with it

Yeh i think this is big.

Not sure if my nostalgia is playing tricks on me but that kdb goal at the bridge felt like a sliding doors moment. It felt like the start of a dynasty.

The problem is we've set our standards so stupidly high its hard to contextualise what a modern day title race looks like.

As the old adage goes. Strikers win matches Defences win titles. Arsenal should be a shoe in, however Arteta just isnt that manager. Liverpool just dont seem cohesive despite looking amazing on paper.

If this was any of the last of the 5 years id put my money on us. But at this stage I honestly I have no idea.
 
My only expectation is that we will continue to improve, and there is plenty of improvement possible. If we are in contention in the latter stages, the other teams will be worried.
 
I don't personally think we stand much if any chance but it's days like today that make days like the Brighton game sting like fuck
 
We lost 2 games while getting up to speed after no preseason with what appears to be a new set up. We will lose a couple more over the season but we will improve also . Based on the last few games it's clear we are still a good side. Not treble winning quality but a good side none the less. Haaland is going to be key. We won't be walking the league but I think we will be challenging which is exactly where we need to be
