Being my usual contrary self I don’t think we had one bad/poor player on our team today. They fought hard together as a team and they won as a team and I applaud them all.
MANCHESTER CITY THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD.

Hate/dislike me for saying it. Try to get me thrown out of BlueMoon but I will always say this is a team and they play as a team. :-) :-)
There was a lack of energy and leadership at some points in the game mate. They still look like a new team coming to terms with one another. Great potential but a lot of work to do before we are back to our very best.

I went for Erling, another two quality finishes.
He had an assist as well and just generally caused havoc.

I thought Doku, NicoG, NicoO, Nunes and Bobb stood out too.

Obviously motm is subjective. In this game i’m absolutely baffled how anyone could watch that and not think it was Doku. To not even have him in your top 3 is insane
And as good as those lads were it’s Doku all day long Easy pick

Can only agree we are desperate for leadership Desperate

Aha but the answer to the OP question is subjective and as I said I’m being contrary. It’s a forum and we have differing opinions and mine is slightly different. :-)

Jezza once again. Always said if he finds his end product he can be one of the best. Just never thought he’d find it lol! Foden and Haaland quality again. Savinho very disappointing once again

MOTM was Nunes for me, followed by Doku, Gonzalez and Foden.
That performance showed me a lot about Pep 3.0 team spirit and gumption.
Those who know me will be shocked by my verdict (as I don't rate Nunes at all), but fair's fair there was no backing out of challenges today, and he was a class above the rest in a generally sloppy first half - where we could have been 5-0 up at HT but were pegged back at 1-1 by a wicked deflection.
Sleeves rolled up at HT, and we put Burnley to the sword in the 2nd half, when we threatened with every attack. Doku had a sublime performance in the second, but Nunes gets my vote overall, for consistency throughout the match.
As to "Scotty" Parker, "mediah" darling, and body double for an arsehole, he was fucking lucky to get away with a light mauling. Indeed, I despair over his lucky "own goals" post match comments that were lapped up by a fawning compliant media. Let's be honest here, Burnley were very lucky to only lose 5-1.

Watching the highlights the BBC were rooting for Burnley and we were pants according to them. Doku was involved in everything and Haaland took his goals superbly
