M.o.M. is an easy choice for me Jezza with a great wingers performance.
I'm wary of not giving Scott Parkers lads sufficient kudos rather than try and pick at any of our deficiencies. This is a Burnley side who took both red mard arses to the wire and got stiffed with injury time penalties in both games to prevent them taking points.
We blew them away eventually and I'm not having it was tight for 60 minutes and that makes us poor somehow.
Football lasts 90 mins plus injury time and its the score at the end that matters not what it was based on an hours play.
Nobody cares who's in the lead of a 1500 metres race at 1000m. If teams want to expend all their 90 minute energy pressing us to death all over the pitch or camped in a back 5-4-1 or 5-5 and shuttle from side to side and doubling up on our wide men, then so be it, but don't try and tell me it's a shame when their lungs fall out at 70 minutes and we run all over them in the last 10 minutes.
The team is gelling slowly but surely and Pep is using substitutes much more to get minutes in everyone's legs. I'll be happier still when we get Marmoush, Cherki and RAN back in contention to give us more creative options.
The media have written us off as any kind of title challengers this season. They may be right but I'd love us to ram it down their red, mard arse, arselicking necks. We just need to efficiently go about our business, get the desired consistency and pop up in April poised to pounce like a herpes blister the twats just can't get rid of. Up the fucking blues.
