Ryder Cup 2025

Can someone just clarify for me? (I know almost nothing about golf, beyond the fact that there are the four majors. And the Americans seem to snaffle at least a couple of them every year. I only played the once, decades back, on a course out near Congleton, I think and it took me and my girlfriend more than a hundred shots to do nine holes, I think.)
Is it not still technically possible for the Americans to win this? Just think how utterly devastating that would be. As a player on the European team, you'd never, ever get over it. Is it in fact possible, even if it's as near as nothing a done deal?
Of course the Yanks could still win. I expect them to win the singles but not by sufficient margin to overturn the European lead

It’s quite an achievement to set the golf course up to (theoretically) favour your own players, rile the crowd up so that they are fixated with abusing the opposition rather than supporting their own team, invite the President to rally the troops and, at the end of day 2, be 7 points behind and require 10 points out of 12 to win the Ryder Cup. Keegan Bradley looks on course to replace Hal Sutton as the shittest US captain.

It’s Bidens fault

While watching last night I was reading a few comments on here about the Americans acting like scousers and at that point the American commentator hunter mahan I think it was mentioned how it means more for the Americans.

Well it gave me a chuckle anyway.

Three points in the first 3 games please - stamp them into their own shitty course - because they deserve it

Honestly, I can't stand how the American crowd is being here. I almost (almost) wish we'd walk off if it happens similarly today.

I know we want to win, I know we want to grind them I to the dirt, but part of me thinks it would shine a bigger light on the behaviour if, on the verge of winning, we just said "nah, we don't want to be a part of this anymore" and left.
