if that was haaland theyd give a freekick to the keeper and book haaland for diving and if it was against the dippers, rags or tarquins theyd give a penalty to them

ive said it a thousand times that there is something incredibly sinister in the way ratboy and spitty attempt to referee games.

What I will say is, they have give penalties in recent seasons for the same challenge, saying the contact on the ball isnt enough.

Correct decision in my opinion though.

Maybe if the ball was rolling into the net but it went almost perpendicular to the goal due to the keepers touch. It wasn't a slight touch so no penalty is the correct decision

Maybe with defenders, but not so much with keepers.

Agreed that's where I think this one is different, keepers already have it hard enough 1 v 1, contact on the ball has to count.

Yes he did and people called him on it. I don't like it, but it's absolutely no different to players going to the ref and asking for a card to be shown. I think it's more to do with it mostly being European players who do the card thing, whereas over here we just surround and bully the ref - which is deemed acceptable.

If a keeper comes out and blocks the ball and there’s a collision with the forward afterwards, penalties aren’t generally given.
