I just don't get it personally, especially given the player. But it's likely to happen so c'est la vie.

That's normal. Fans are not supposed to get everything. Mistakes happen but professionals at top clubs tend to know better than fans what should be done. If Pep thinks Savinho can become a top player why not trust his opinion?
 
I mean some here hated on Doku for months despite him being our only creative output so I can see the same people being wrong when it comes to savinho too.
 
it isn't about savinho v doku, both are different types of wingers

however do I see savinho. as san. asset in. a less dominant city team that is competimg woth 3-4 teams and sadly the answer is no, he isn't a battler and dare I say another Robinho (bar the sex pest bit) talented but soft

Still mahrez getting ridiculous strays. Mahrez was genuinely world class and was far from soft. He was unavailable for one game during his whole tenure at city and that wasn’t injury related. So not exactly soft.

He had a languid style but he contributed more defensively than savinho does.

Savinho is currently not half the player mahrez was.

Mahrez was widely perceived as soft in terms of fancying physical challenges.

Also, nobody is saying Savinho is as good as Mahrez in his prime. But Mahrez at 21 was a nobody in Ligue 2 in France.

That's also a pointless statement. City also don't just bow down to a player's demands - that’s not how City work - and we've also had players unhappy for numerous reasons (playing time, climate etc), that have stayed at the club. We don't have to give an improved contract to a player that has 4 years left, even if we have turned down a bid for him.

How was Mahrez doing at the age of 21? How many goals and assists did he have?

Okay mahrez was also 5 years older. What is this dumb mahrez vs savinho comparison . Will people ever realize that savinho is just 21? Younger than Bobb? Who people claim to be the REAL DEAL?
