If Rodri is fine, play him. If he's not, don't. Game time will help, ultimately, and he needs to have a very clear channel of communication with Pep about how his knee is feeling throughout.

Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea all rotated last night and none of them played well. Two didn’t win, and it could be argued that all of them could have got beat.
The Norwegians could have scored 6. Threw away a couple of points.
Not seen anything of Monaco yet, so forecast a draw. Any away points are valuable in this format.

But so did real madrid, bayern, inter and atletico and they all won.
Same time don't want to finish outside top 8 and be in playoffs in February where x2 do or die matches take their toll more so
Im of the opinion potentially playing 2 extra games then, during a lighter fixture schedule is worth the risk to not have to play 8 games at full strength in a busier period.

Think last year 16 points got top 8, worth trying to get those points on tne board quickly and rotating the last 2 or 3 February / March can be busy especially if we stay in the league and FA cup cups.

For Monaco, I read that Camara, Zakaria, Golovin, Bamba, Pogba unlikely to play but Akliouche may return. I don't know what that means other than they have more injury problems than City.

Camara is their best player by a mile much easier game if he's out

But be at an added risk of not qualifying for knock out stages? Dont remember it being a light workload just after we got knocked out by the fascists last time. None of them won the cup though.

Well im certainly not anyway. Last thing you want are 2 more must win games in heart of the season
