I thought the big lump couldn't head a ball :-)

It's great that he got that leap just right. If he starts getting that right regularly, believe it, he can increase his goal tally by half as much again. Especially last season, his timing was just slightly off. It has been the one and only weakness in his game. He can be an absolute monster.
(His pressing can be a bit half-hearted, but I honestly don't care about that).

As for Nico O'R, this lad is going to be some player for us.

Airling.

Running out of superlatives. Best striker in the world. And Foden is starting play like Foden. Thoroughly enjoyable first half.

I think we are playing really well against a team who always do well against English opposition.

Slightly feeling of unease when they attack means I would strengthen the midfield. But what do I know compared to Pep.

Well on top but Monaco are dangerous exposing lack of pace we have at the back. But hopefully we’ll be too stupor them . 4-2

another player - mostly of London clubs - from that "golden age of talent" which never qualified for an international finals competition ( see Charlie George, Gerry Francis and others for confirmation )
Pretty decent punditry, even sees our ball schlepping as a secret weapon. :) Better than anything TNT can offer, as a former baller appreciates segments of our game.

Some very good young talent in Ligue 1, even if a bit raw. Be quite happy if we keep shopping there rather than overpaying in England.

Overall we've played very well. Haaland is in superb form, and Phil looks dangerous. We've hit the cross bar, and both Reijnders and O'Reilly have had chances.

Speaking of O'Reilly he's also in great form. I notice the only two games we've lost he didn't start. He's a lucky charm for us.

Decent first half, deserve to be in front, hopefully get an early 3rd then get rodri and maybe Foden off

He was in the 1982 World Cup squad aged 24.
