Excellent point. Ages since we got anything away from home in the CL. Played well and they looked very dangerous on the break. Would have settled for a draw before the game.
They had 11 1st team players on the pitch thoBTW Monaco have 10 injuries. Fucking wank.
Thought we played well in that game and should have put it to bed well before the end.
In terms of the penalty, I know I’m going to be in the minority, but they are always given in Europe and have been for a long while. Hoddles arguments I get some will agree with but it doesn’t matter if you play the ball or not.
Yep, interesting he was allowed on so soon with no concussion check after being brutally kicked in the head. How Dier recovered from that severe head injury inflicted by Nico to score the penalty, will forever remain a mystery..
Didn't take long for the keeper to get blamed. New record possiblyTurd referee.. not a pen at all. Face hits foot, not foot hits face!
Haaland awesome.
Gvardiol with a fucking mare.. and if we play Trafford, he saves Monaco's first goal!!!
Slow, sluggish, always a yard behind a player. No zip or urgency for most of the match. Was it fuck. You're talking nonsense.
Agree aabout Bernard - been a great player but running out of steamI'm sure everyone will talk about the ref, but more concerning is just how easy to get at we looked whenever they had the ball. Our team speed in midfield and defence is shocking when you come up against a team with Monaco's pace.
And while I love him, Pep keeping Bernardo on all game was mind boggling.
In soccer, a raised foot near the head is a foul called "playing in a dangerous manner" or, more colloquially, a "high boot". A referee can call this foul even if no contact is made, as the action itself is a threat to a player's safety.
For those confused by the rules
Hes the new Gundogan - teachers pet!!Bernie RW crap, kills every attack and then pisses the ref off as he is about to make a penalty decision great captaincy
Mate, Stones was getting roasted for pace constantly on the right hand side. He just had to swap him for Nunes. In control then Pep makes subs...
