You can't have been on the forum in recent years then, sadly...In recent years, I don't remember a City player having such vocal opposition while still pulling on a shirt. It's a shame.

Absolutely unanimous support, as is the Bluemoon way.Not gonna read all 9 pages but I imagine all the posts are unanimous in their support for this decision.
So was/is Savinho! Poor bloke had to move the case from his snooker room and put everything back in the wardrobe.I was gutted when the Tottenham move fell through and still am
That is also a big possibility tbhI think that 70m is a bit like the emperors clothes.
That’s not really how it works, we have to pray he can up his game to increase his value. Not odd at all.If City do decide to sell him then his transfer fee will be higher. If Spurs were serious, and by all accounts ir did appear that way, then £60M become £70M. Good bit of business IMO and yes I do agree that so far he has been inconsistent but the lads only just 20/21 years of age.
Remember Rodris shit displays for the first 18 months ?
Agree. I would have taken the money in the summer. But he's got time now to get his form going.Divides opinion doesn’t he - no doubt he has talent most Brazilians do - he’s young and has scope to improve - but you feel could go either way this - if you was being positive you would compare Doku - has come on massively lately and hope Savinho can do the same
Not all have blind loyalty to players (who were more than happy to fuck off in the summer). I’m a City fan, I want the club to do well, I may well be proven wrong and I’d be happy to, but I don’t think Savinho improves us.In recent years, I don't remember a City player having such vocal opposition while still pulling on a shirt. Every transfer is a gamble and the majority of players we`ve had "in" through the door have proved to be successful, but we`ve also had some real dummies. IMO we as fans should give the lad a bit more time. I always say take a look at Rodri who was dogshit for 18 months and maybe Sav can improve, but I`m not disappointed in him, as you can see the talent he has, but he needs to be more consistent. It is a gamble at the end of the day. If he replicates his previous season, we are not seeing the fee we signed him for originally and have decided to raise his wages.
Of course it isn`t but FFS the lad is only just 21 and still learning his PL trade. That’s not really how it works, we have to pray he can up his game to increase his value.
If we’re here in a years time and his scoring rate is just as low, we have an asset that has depreciated in value as he’s older and no better, whilst earning enough to put potential suitors off.
It’s a gamble we’ve played, not a certain thing.

Ederson, Fernandinho, Douglas Luiz (regardless of work permit issues), Jesus and Reis looks classy.Gabriel Savinho.
Our Brazilian dealings haven't been the best - although Elano was pretty good and left too soon. The one that got away.

What do you mean by Brazilian dealings?Gabriel Savinho.
