Munich references in current chants.

Hello hello we are the city boys
Hello hello we are the city boys
And if ...
Surrender or you'll die
We all follow the city

It's annoying to change it since it fits, but if needs must.
Maybe, and if youre a *nited fan, or, and if you're from the red cartel.

Had a bunch of mibs starting on blues on the Maine Road forecourt near the main entrance about 10 to 3 one Derby game.

They were shouting "Come on then! we are Munichs"

Bunch of old blokes walking past looking at them bemused.
I can confirm that incident i was involved and also heard that.
Reminds me of YIDS spurs can sing about it but we cant. ???????.
I am not saying I agree with Yids or Munich chants by the way. CTID

There was a lot lot worse than that I’m sure you probably remember …. Loads of blues chucked out for anti Jewish stuff that’s totally unacceptable today , even by me and I’m a right ****. Dark humorous lyrics like that no one gets away with now … bit like Belsen was a gas by the pistols

People should remember that one of our greatest ever players, goalkeeper Frank Swift also died in the Munich disaster.

No matter how much you hate United, Munich references and chants should be off limits.
Blues, especially younger blues should not need to be told not to sings songs mocking the Munich air disaster because one of our former players died. They should be educated how all those who perished and injured tragically died that day.

I used to sing several songs mocking Munich songs in my youth until I realised I was a complete numpty in my late teens

Last time I went in Mary D's was about 5 seasons ago and I saw blokes my age singing Munich songs with their sons joining in. Before walking out in disgust I bollocked the dad saying he should know better at his age. No wonder some youngsters sing about Munich and 'Munich's'. It's us FOCs who are the root cause of why a minority still mock still mock them with tragedy chanting.

That said, United and Liverpool fans should know better than to mock each others tragedies then expect the fans of other clubs to be respectful in not singing about Munich Hillsborough and Heysel. Talk about hypocrisy and the irony of it.

Heard it sang as harder than me nan oroginally but it changed to even Jap stam but sidie bit was "whos that"
