Watched the film when it first came out at the cinemas, it was on before the main event. We used to get 2 films for the price of one back in the day but not now the robbing bastards :)

I also liked the Victor which was mainly full stories rather than comic strips.

Any body else remembers a visit(s) to the Manchester Dental Hospital back in the late 50's or early 60s?
A large open hall with rows of dental chairs and patients being treated by trainees with a supervisor watching over. The size of the injection needles back in those days!!
No privacy, and those waiting for treatment sat in same room listening to all the moans and groans.
Like myself, a lot of kids, born just after the war, suffered calcium deficiency during rationing, which led to various dental problems. The MDH was a free walk-in service.

Must have been one of the biggest causes of house fires BITD. Especially when phones became common. Go to answer the phone and forget about the chip pan!
