As I get older I’m looking for tea that’s lighter and a bit brighter. I was never a fan of really strong stuff but even some English Breakfast teas just taste too strong now. Is it my taste or is tea getting poorer in quality ? Ceylon tea now usually.

I do. Not as people, I have to add. But having to get milk and sugar, how do you like it, not too strong, loads of milk, two sugars.

We get all our teas from Dorothy’s Teas in Grange. Only ever make loose tea with a dash of milk. Rwandan Sunrise, Thowra Estate, Milima Estate are just some of my favourites. Hate the poncy teas; you know them, fruit and floral crap.

It’s very one-sided as well. When they’re making a cup for me I just tell them to leave the bag and teaspoon in the mug and I will sort the complexity of perfect strength myself.
