That's the danger - if trump should see this term out without being assassinated, that'll be plenty of time for him to elevate Vance in the eyes of MAGA, or anybody else whom he thinks would make a good puppet to implement his wishes.

Purdue Pharma purposely got people addicted to prescription painkillers, and when those people could no longer access those painkillers, they ended up turning to illegal substances. They got away with that far too lightly considering the damage they have done.
