Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

Hopefully this is the start of actual progress on peace, which, contrary to the beliefs of some fucktards on here, will benefit ourselves as well as innocent Palestinians and Israelis. A less volatile Middle East means a reduced likelihood of sending some of our soldiers into another needless warzone.

When the dust settles and agreements are reached, drag Netanyahu to The Hague.

Mate, 20,000 children have been killed in Gaza. Regardless of your view of whether it is specifically genocide or not it is at least extremely excessive and both legally and morally unacceptable. What Hamas did was a war crime but that doesn't justify a response which includes killing 10x more innocent people because that itself is a war crime.

The amount of firepower unleashed upon Gaza is more than x6 Hiroshima nuclear bombs. Israel has lived total normalcy since 7/10 whereas it will take a century or more to rebuild Gaza because there is very little left.

We should condemn both and not just one.

How many Germans were killed in WW2 or Japanese, was that a war crime? Is it a war crime all the Nigerian Christians that have been slaughtered this year? Wars are horrible but innocent lives are unfortunately lost, more so if they used as human shields.
If you think running to bomb shelters at 3.00am in the morning or stopping your car on a motorway and having 15-30 seconds to find safety, or having terrorists firing missiles indiscriminately from the north, south, east and west at all times is living normally then crack on. Israel left Gaza 20 years ago and what did they do, built a tunnel network nearly twice as big as the London Underground and their leaders siphoned of billions in aid for themselves. As I said, don’t start a war, lose then cry victim. The amount of firepower is irrelevant, it’s war. If you are attached with a 6 inch blade do you react with something similar or something far more powerful.

Why thank you for your compliment, much appreciated. The only genocide committed was by Hamas on October 7 2023 and correct there is no famine in Gaza, never has been. Sure there has been a shortage of food in some areas but ask yourself why. Have you seen the videos from today with all the Arabs in the streets with their new iphones, fresh haircuts, clean clothes and fat bellies. Some genocide and famine. If they wanted the so called genocide to end then they should have returned the hostages or better still, not invade a sovereign state in the first place.
You obviously have no idea what constitutes a genocide you utter fucking moron.

For the last 20 years Israel had a blockade on Gaza it’s a prison camp.

Two Years That Shook the World: The Unforgettable Cost of Gaza’s Genocide

They called it a war. The world now knows it was genocide.

Two years since Israel’s assault on Gaza began, the evidence and the numbers reveal a deliberate campaign to erase a people and their future, an assault that has never truly stopped.

Over 67,000 Palestinians have been killed among them 20,000 children and 12,500 women. More than 169,000 others have been injured, many living with permanent disabilities under a collapsed healthcare system. At least 56,000 children have been orphaned, growing up surrounded by loss and rubble.

The destruction is near total. 90% of Gaza’s buildings have been damaged or destroyed. 268,000 families returned to nothing but ruins. Every university in Gaza has been bombed, 668 schools flattened, and 835 mosques along with three churches erased from the skyline. Hospitals such as Al-Shifa, Al-Ahli, and Nasser have been raided and rendered nonfunctional. What once was a vibrant society is now a shattered memory.

But even beyond the bombs, silent killers continue their work. More than 460 people, including 154 children, have starved to death. Seventeen froze to death in fragile tents during the winter. Twelve thousand mothers lost their unborn children to malnutrition, stress, and trauma.

And yet, the world has not remained silent. From London to Johannesburg, New York to Kuala Lumpur, millions have marched in one of the largest global solidarity movements of our time ,becoming the conscience the world needed, standing for humanity when governments failed.

This is not just Gaza’s story. It is the story of our time of what we witnessed, what we failed to stop, and what we must never forget.

The evidence is overwhelming. The world has spoken. Justice must follow

So by your logic Nazi Germany did nothing wrong? 70,000+ died in Gaza as collateral damage?

That's not how international law or even common humanity works.

Israel should/will be held to account for any crimes that it has committed so we'll see!

Complete fucking oddball

WW2 by the Germans, Rwanda, Myanmar, Sudan, Syria, Nigeria - how am I doing so far. Not Gaza sorry, the only war in history where the people who the supposed genocide was happening to wouldn’t agree to a ceasefire. Odd don’t you think?

Did you copy and paste that from Al Jazeera. The rewriting of history as we speak. Schools, hospitals etc flattened as Hamas was fighting out of them. Suffering from a genocide and a famine but let’s shag away, not a great idea. Death ratio of combatant to civilian is the lowest ever in the history of wars and that’s if you believe Hamas figures! Your boys lost, get over it.

I’m not sure dead kids and women can agree to a ceasefire, let alone surviving kids and women.

And speaking of ceasefires, there was one earlier in the year. Perhaps you’d like to remind us all who broke it…..

Israelis are the people who lost, some of the hostages are returned dead their families will be heartbroken, the grief and suffering will be shared by the Palestinians

In an invasion no one wins there is heartbreak on all sides, Netanyahu and the IDF obliterated Gaza the PM Starmer told us 86% of Gaza was destroyed reduced to rubble no one wins.

The depressing thing is peace deal or not everybody knows it will be rinse and repeat again at some point in the future.
I'm a foc and as long as I've been on this spinning planet I seem to remember turmoil, war and killing in that region.
