Reform 2025 Limited new name same business

I'm not attacking him, I don't understand what he's saying half the time. There is a hidden meaning to everything.
As far as I can see hardly anyone understands what he’s saying most of the time load pseudo intellectual rambling, don’t know if that’s intentional or not but remember somebody , can’t remember who, saying years ago they thought people not understanding him were stupid then one day he realised he was the stupid one because he wasn’t explaining himself well enough so he could be understood.

East Skelton threw off its Tory robes on Thursday by electing a new councillor - Craig Holmes. The same Craig Holmes who fought for a neighbouring ward at the last locals ............. as a Tory. He won but was ejected by that Party because he never attended any council meetings.

The morning after he flew off to Benidorm on holiday - likes a lads pissup does Craig.

This made me smile.

If you can't understand my posts, it could be that they're the ramblings of a pompous pseudo intellectual, but there is another possibility....

I'll put it simply, back in the day all that was required to be a left winger was to believe in the concept of fairness and that inequality in society was a result of the exploitation of the masses by greedy capitalists.

But now there is a list of "isms" and a moving feast of correct think that one must believe in order to be left wing.

In short, it is no longer possible to be a left winger unless you believe in multiculturalism, critical race theory, trans ideology, Palestinian genocide, DEI, intersectionality, white privilege and that the UK is and always has been a country of immigrants, the list goes on and on. And you must reject English ethnicity, the concept of the nation state, the existence of an over arching English culture, meritocracy, patriotism and women's rights.

All these "must have beliefs" and many more, have been bolted onto the left over the last twenty years or so, some of them are clearly incompatible with the core left wing principle of fairness, some of them contradict each other, some deny material reality and some come with menace, all come with a whiff of authoritarianism.

The left's greatest conceit and it's evident in here page after page, is that it believes there is a general consensus around these "must have beliefs" and if there isn't there should be, because these things are self evidently correct, they are good, empathetic, many of them have been stamped by the left as universal human rights for crying out loud!

So the greatest sin for any left leaning individual is the crime of saying "hang on a minute" to the "must haves".

As a consequence anyone who veers from the path of these "must haves" has to be labelled as either stupid, or simply a bad person with questionable motives.

I can't put it any simpler than this.

As time goes by, all of this will get more and more exposure. A few years of them not delivering where they have been given control of councils together with the likes of this being dragged up again, hopefully will sway those that are wavering. I know there are a few on here that are lost souls already, although how anyone can decide how they're going to vote in 4 years time I really don't know.

That's the hope.

A number of posters in here compare Farage to Trump, but there is one big difference, Trump was a Presidential candidate for an established political party, one of only two big beasts in the USA.

Farage leads a party with no structure, chock full of misfits, grifters and criminals, it'll be his downfall.

Why has he pulled his pants down like a 4 year old?

I’ve maintained for some time that these cunts will have a ceiling, and that tactical voting will likely do for them but I do have a fear that complacency (which arguably I’m displaying) and a failure of the government to tackle the material issues adequately before the next GE will raise the threat level of them getting a working majority with the Tories (with Reform being the dominant party).

Long way to go, and I’m sure their performance over the next few years in local government won’t help them, but dismiss the cunts out of hand at your peril.

The influence of the online world for you and in particular the American culture wars and political debates.

Personally I’m still trying to resist the American influence and don’t see any of those things really as left or right wing but I agree with some of your sentiment about how the different positions have been aligned in that way now.

A friend of mine went down to the Reform UK rally in Crook, Co Durham this afternoon as I was at work. 32 people attended. He also said that he thinks quite a few came from out of town.
Poor show considering the population of our town is approximately 13k.
Not surprisingly the Facebook page for the local Reform UK group makes no mention whatsoever of today's rally

That's awfully complicated and simple at the same time. ("Simple" as in simplistic or simpleton.)

I must admit I don't have a Danny what he's on about half the time, sometimes I think I do. Most of the time it looks like word salad. He still makes more sense than the other cunts who used to hate him though

amateurs being used by sinister people who are far more clever than they are

They're not a serious political party and the mainstream media should stop treating them as if they are. They're the beneficiaries of the general discontent for sure, but they're not in control of it. The flags are still flying but to no purpose and Farage keeps his distance, that's Robinson and Habib's thing.

Boredom, incompetence, arrogance, factionalism and grift will do for Reform.

Four years is going to be long for Farage.

I'm informed - fairly reliably - that the Reform candidate in a Trafford by-election this week works for the Council so if she won she would have to resign her job, or not take up the councillor role prompting another £25,000 by-election.

Culled from a facebook page

QUESTION TIME
Farage shouts 2.2 million arrivals in two years. Sounds massive, doesn’t it?
Q. How many of those are students?
A. About 840,000. Paying sky high fees, rent, food, bus passes. If anything they keep our universities alive and subsidise the rest of us. (840,000)
Q. How many are in legal work, paying tax?
A. Roughly 1.1 million. A big slice in the NHS and care homes. Without them our hospitals and care services shut tomorrow. (~1,100,000)
Q. How many are children, parents, or pensioners legally here but not in the labour market?
A. About 350,000. The kids of workers, the mums looking after them, the grandparents who came to join family. (350,000)
Q. How many are refugees escaping wars and persecution?
A. Around 110,000. Kurds, Afghans, Syrians, Sudanese. People who have lost everything and come here for safety. (110,000)
Q. So where is this tidal wave of illegals he bangs on about?
A. It is not there. What is left is a small slice, car washes, nail bars, cash in hand jobs. Nobody knows the exact figure, because those numbers do not exist.
And here is the killer question for Mr Farage. Where does our little ray of sunshine get his numbers from? I have done deep searches and there are no official stats out there. He throws out a big number, never breaks it down, and lets people imagine it is all boat people.
The truth is plain. Half are working and paying in, a third are students paying through the nose, the rest are children, family or refugees. Only a tiny uncounted fraction are the illegals he wants you to picture.
So when you hear 2.2 million, have a laugh and order another pint. It is not an invasion, it is just life.
And speaking of life, I am off to my Kurdish barber, hot towels, a cut throat shave.
I trust him with a razor at my neck, which is more than I would ever trust Farage with the numbers.

Farage has been keeping his head down over the last few days and shunning the limelight, which is unusual for him.

Does he have something in the cupboard he doesn't want us to find and ask questions about?
