Isak is struggling. The excuse we hear from Liverpool fans is that he didn't have a pre-season and he needs games. He has now had 11 games. I didn't see any of Sweden 0-1 Kosovo, but I imagine a non-scoring £125m forward will be getting a lot of criticism. There will be pressure on Isak going into the Liverpool v Man Utd game.

That’s a great piece of film. Some things about Liverpool can be viewed with respect and that is one of them. IIRC, the last public wash-house lasted into the 90s, maybe even the early 00s.

Public wash houses were a vital element of life for so many women . That said , these days , most clothes wouldn't survive that sort of boiling or scrubbing . Cotton , cotton , cotton ... But it was the social contact that was so vital for so many .

Isak & Wirtz not settled yet but they've too many quality players to keep being shit unfortunately. They'll turn it around but can they do it before Arsenal or (whisper it) us set sail too far into the sunset?

Not sure I subscribe to this 'too many quality players to keep being shit' line if seen chucked around. If it was a simple as the best 11 on paper winning the league we could not bother actually playing any football
