Right back options

We don’t seem to have a decent RB in mind? Perhaps we should go down the Denzil D route ( short term) ?
It's arguably the weakest position in world football

Hakimi is the only real world class stand out, maybe Kounde/Timber depending on how you rate them, for me they're good but only because the position is so weak

Madrid still relying on an old Carvajal as TAA is struggling, Frimpong/Bradley struggling at Liverpool, James has regressed & Gusto is "ok" for chelsea, Porro is alright, Mazroui failed at United, Bayern relying on Laimer/Boey, Dumfries hitting 30, Di Lorrenzo 32, Munoz at Palace hitting 30, no team in Europe can see the deal with Vanderson that people on here do, Livramento is good but hardly a world beater and now has another knee injury, Singo settled for Galatasaray as European clubs didnt think he was that good

Isn't exactly an abundance of talent

Heard there was a decent player in Burnley

there are plenty of good talents available, here is a few i have been following sinc January

Guela Doue - he is more of a defensive talent, is decent in build up, only issue he is a BlueCo player
Vanderson - good on both side's of the pitch, maybe the only issue is he's size - 1,73m
Tiago Santos - he is more of a attacking wingback, like Frimpong, but better defensively and technical than him. ex-Winger from Sporting. Issue is that he just returned from ACL injury, will need time to settle if at all
Omar El Hilali - more of a defensive talent, with a lot of room to improve
Martim Fernandes - a young all rounder, who has a lot to improve on
Trai Hume - has started very good in PL, Sunderland would ask a very high fee for him tho
Zakaria El Ouahdi - in the same cloth as Tiago Santos
Norton-Cuffy - has a promising start to the season, is HG
Alberto Costa - replaced Fernandes in Porto after a half a year in Juve, seems decent in both ends

still i think Singo would be the best option, he would be perfect for what we need. Singo, Khusanov, Gvardiol, RAN/ROR back line sounds very good

And they are all prospects though, my point was there are no obivous world class option to come in immediately and make a splash like Walker did when he joined

Also there are no guarantees in football for prospects. Look how our fans have treated Savinho and Rico Lewis (and Doku previously), look at how badly Kerkez has found adjusting to Liverpool under a big fee despite being the leagues best LB last year

All those players you listed need first team football, you think Pep is going to throw in a 22 year old (ish) to start 30+ games a season?

Put Rico in any of those teams that those players above play for I'd no doubt say he'll be performing equally or better

BBC Sport mention Bild are linking us with a move for Nathaniel Brown of Eintracht Frankfurt today, they reckon they'd want £52m.

Apparently he's a left back, though can play as an inverted right-back.

i don't understand why we are not linked to Wilfried Singo, for me he should be nr1 target for RB

We will really go for everyone instead of just the players we actually need eh? Played LB all the time for Nürnberg and now for Eintracht. He has never played a game as a RB. This can’t be serious

Seems weird to me. Possibly just nonsense. If not, maybe it's to go on the left and free up O'Reilly possibly. No idea really, never even heard of him before.

It’s a toss up between right back and striker that has the worst strength in depth in world football.

There are two elite strikers in the world (imagine saying that 15-20 years ago when there were about two-dozen!) in Haaland and Mbappe. And there are probably 3 elite RBs in Hakimi, Kounde and Timber.

Everyone else is both positions are instantly forgettable.

Might as well stick with Khusanov and develop him there.
