I was reading on the Rag TV outlet, the BBC, that they were going back to orange and people would remember Salford for their orange kit. Nooooo! I won't. I only remember Blackpool in tangerine!

People would remember them for playing in orange ?

They alienated a lot of Salford blues with their senseless decision to turn them into a mini United and have them playing United kits.

There was nothing to be gained from it but at stroke probably ensured that any local City fans who may have had a soft spot for them, feel like they wouldn’t be welcome.

It was a toss up between the Crass of 92 and the Moston Rag Socks as to which one went out of their way the most to alienate local or potential local support
