Close, it’s Odsal.Bugger, predictive text.
Odsall is the old Bradford Rugby League ground, I think ?
People would remember them for playing in orange ?I was reading on the Rag TV outlet, the BBC, that they were going back to orange and people would remember Salford for their orange kit. Nooooo! I won't. I only remember Blackpool in tangerine!
Tangerine/Blue… they get upset if you say orangeI remember Oldham playing in orange years ago.
Wasn’t it “salmon” rather than orange?I remember Oldham playing in orange years ago.
That was a Weaste of a gag getting it wrongNo but he may have called one Ordsall
It was a toss up between the Crass of 92 and the Moston Rag Socks as to which one went out of their way the most to alienate local or potential local supportThey alienated a lot of Salford blues with their senseless decision to turn them into a mini United and have them playing United kits.
There was nothing to be gained from it but at stroke probably ensured that any local City fans who may have had a soft spot for them, feel like they wouldn’t be welcome.
Don't care :)Tangerine/Blue… they get upset if you say orange
Looked orange to me.Wasn’t it “salmon” rather than orange?
Yeah, it's like those Lancashire Fusiliers' hackles. They weren't yellow, they were primrose.Tangerine/Blue… they get upset if you say orange
To be fair to the Joskins… there is a difference between the shade of Tangerine & Orange.Yeah, it's like those Lancashire Fusiliers' hackles. They weren't yellow, they were primrose.
What BROUGHThatONThat was a Weaste of a gag getting it wrong
Yer right. There's a difference between the colour of shirt Wolves play in and the shirts they turned up with in the fifties. They still make out it's 'Old Gold' but not the same 'Old Gold' they used to wear.To be fair to the Joskins… there is a difference between the shade of Tangerine & Orange.
Funnily enough I saw EFC playing in salmon 'n blue stripes at Boundary Park. Nil fuckin' nil!? Oldham played in Tangerine Phil. Everton’s ‘pink’ kit was referred to as Salmon as I recall.
