Cheers mate
To give more time to teams in Europe teams playing on a Tuesday should be, where possible given the Saturday lunchtime game especially if the Tuesday game is away. Those extra few hours could make all the difference. So based on that Sky will fuck us over and put us on at 5.30The derby can't be on Sunday because of the Bodo game on the Tuesday. People seem to be saying we'll be the Saturday Lunchtime game, but I can't see sky not picking us. Surely it'll be 17:30?
Oh for sure, agreed mate. Never go near the markets either. What I meant was, it makes places like NQ, New Islington etc even busier too cos people like me and you avoid it. Also makes trains a bit more lively too!Id avoid the Xmas markets like the plague tbh, unless you enjoy being ripped off. Northern Quarter for us - theres a good 15-20 of us who all sit in the same block who have a Xmas drink up every year so the fixture computer has been kind.
Look on the club website. It no longer says 'fixture date and time be confirmed'Who confirmed Sunderland as 3pm?
All PL fixtures up to and including the weekend before Christmas are now confirmed.Who confirmed Sunderland as 3pm?
Sky and BT/TNT have swapped their slots more than once when a game has to be played on Saturday due to CL scheduling but can’t be at 5:30pm on police advice. The derby can't be on Sunday because of the Bodo game on the Tuesday. People seem to be saying we'll be the Saturday Lunchtime game, but I can't see sky not picking us. Surely it'll be 17:30?
Yes brought forward tv on Tuesday. Was Fulham originally Wednesday?
Anyone know when the January fixtures announcement are due for tv was meant to be around the 16th oct, seems now it’s getting later and later they just don’t give a fuck..
Surely they're just waiting on the Carabao Cup now? Fixtures out end of this week/weekend after they draw that on Wednesday?
I'm definitely not defending their logic! I'd just read elsewhere this was the case. In fairness it is only a few days before the Christmas fixtures, maybe they're awaiting the draw to make sure there's no duplication of fixtures or owt?But that won't change or affect anything? Next round of Carabao Cup is the QFs which is to be played on Tue/Wed of 16/17 December and they have already confirmed all fixtures on both ends of that mid-week. We are playing Palace (A) on Sunday 14 at 2pm and then West Ham (H) on Saturday 20 at 3pm ... so that kind of already tells us Carabao will have to put our QF (should we get past Swansea) on Wednesday as we can't play Tuesday anymore after Sunday.
